A Spanish rally co-driver was killed in a terrible accident when her car went off the road and crashed into another vehicle.
Laura Salvo, 21, was participating in the first stage of the Vidreiro Rally in Portugal when her car allegedly pulled off the road and hit a jaw.
The car was driven by Miguel Socias and paramedics rushed to the scene within two minutes. Attempts to revive her failed and she died by the roadside.

Marinha Grande volunteer firefighters commander Vítor Graça told Mundo Deportive that the car in which Socias and Salvo were traveling "collapsed when it hit a jaw about 500/600 meters before the start of the first section".
Salvo was trapped inside and suffered cardiac arrest after his release. Attempts to revive them have failed.
The president of the Marina Grande Automobile Club explained the incident on the live stream of the competition.
He said, “Unfortunately we have to report a death at our rally. Competitor Laura Salvo, who competed as a navigator in the Peugeot Rally Cup Iberica, suffered an accident at the beginning of the first stage that caused her death.
& # 39; The Marina Grande Automobile Club and its supplies arrived on site in about two minutes and did everything they could to save the young competitor and revive her.

She competed with Socias in the Suzuki Swift Cup last season and started 2020 by winning the Rally del Bierzo.
Maria Salvo, her sister, is also a well-known co-driver of the rally.
Social media users shared their honors after the news of Salvo's death first broke.
Peugeot Sport wrote: "Peugeot Sport would like to express its condolences to the family and friends of co-driver Laura Salvo, who died this morning after an accident at the Vidreio Centro rally in Portugal."
One heartbroken fan added, "The rally world has a new angel in heaven."
Another added: "A day of mourning for all rally enthusiasts following the tragic death of co-driver Laura Salvo this weekend in Portugal."
