President Donald Trump and Democratic candidate Joe Biden began their final presidential debate on Thursday without interrupting each other, but disagreed on the coronavirus pandemic in a head-to-head game with a dramatically different tone than the first .
Each candidate's microphones were muted for the first two minutes of their response, and that moment of discipline established by the Presidential Debate Commission after Trump repeatedly interrupted Biden in their first session carried out the first part of the debate.
However, regarding the coronavirus – the subject of the first section – the two men disagreed. Biden repeatedly criticized Trump's handling of the pandemic, which killed more than 200,000 Americans.
"Anyone responsible for so many deaths shouldn't remain President of the United States of America," said Biden.
President Trump cited his own experience with the virus and said the country was turning a corner. "It's going to go away and like I said, we're going around the corner, we're going around the corner, it goes away," he said.
The two men made sure to present their arguments in a presidential manner, allowed each other to speak, and asked moderator Kristen Welker for time to respond.
The change in tone was notable from their first meeting in Cleveland, which resembled a boxing match.
Biden argued that the situation with COVID was going to get worse.
“We are about to have a dark winter. A dark winter. And he doesn't have a clear plan and there is no prospect that a vaccine will be available to the majority of Americans until the middle of next year, ”he said.
The president, who has urged the country to reopen and return to normal, said the country has learned more about the disease and is ready to move forward.
"We won't have a dark winter at all," said the president. "We're opening up the country, we've learned and we understand the disease that we didn't have in the beginning."
The second presidential debate between Donald Trump and Joe Biden began Thursday in Nashville at Belmont University's Curb Event Center Arena with 200 spectators
The night started with the COVID-19 topic and both Trump and Biden took coronavirus tests and tested negative on Thursday before meeting on stage
This debate is different from the last one in that the candidates' microphones are muted and therefore cannot interrupt one another

Both Trump and Biden ran coronavirus tests on Thursday and tested negative before meeting on stage.
At Air Force One, he tested negative for the coronavirus, according to Chief of Staff Mark Meadows. "We tested him on the way here and he tested negative," Meadows told reporters.
The Biden campaign had previously said that he had also tested negative for COVID-19.
Today's debate is the final debate of the election – the previous one was scratched after Trump refused to participate in a "virtual" format after receiving the coronavirus – providing a dwindling opportunity for the president to try reset the race.
President Donald Trump has invited Hunter Biden's former business partner Tony Bobulinski (pictured) to join his debate
Trump hoped he could throw his rival off balance and show that his mind would be "shot" by repeated attacks and interruptions during the initial Cleveland debate. But Biden got a slight bump in the national polls that were conducted afterwards.
Now the president has wired that he will accuse his rival of "corruption", just as he did at his election rallies before Thursday – and will not hold back, Hunter Biden after the publication of emails telling Trump's lawyer Rudy Giuliani brought out to set on fire said came from hunter's laptop.
President Trump brought Hunter Biden's former business partner Tony Bobulinksy into the debate to confront Biden over his son's overseas deal.
Bobulinsky spoke to reporters at the Marriott in downtown Nashville three hours before the last presidential debate began – and said he would hand over three cell phones to the FBI and meet with Republican senators about his past deals.
He said he was angry with Hunter after trying to use funds on a possible deal with a Chinese energy company that was his "personal piggy bank" for hunters.
"I will provide the FBI with the equipment that contains the evidence to back up what I have said so that I cannot ask questions at this point," he told reporters who make up President Donald Trump's traveling press pool.
“I've heard Joe Biden say he never discussed the deal with a hunter – that's wrong. I have firsthand knowledge of this because I've dealt directly with the Biden family, including Joe Biden, Bobulinsky said.
“I was told last Sunday by someone who was also involved in this matter that if we made this information public, it would bury us all, including the Bidens. I don't want to bury anyone. & # 39;
Describing what he said was meeting Joe Biden on May 2, 2017 to discuss a business deal with China that would invest in infrastructure, real estate and technology in the US.
"At my meeting with Joe that evening, which lasted for about an hour, we discussed the history of Biden, the plans of the Biden family business with the Chinese, with whom he was clearly familiar, at least at a high level," he said.
After that meeting, I had numerous conversations with Hunter, (Partner Robert) Walker, (James) Gilliar and Jim Biden about the split of the stock ownership of the Sinohawk company they founded.

The televised statement came after Bobulinsky told conservative media that text messages showing Hunter Biden's business negotiations and references to his father were authentic.
"It seems like a distraction and a spectacle to me," Biden supporter Senator Chris Coons of Delaware told Fox News, which fully aired Bobulinsky's testimony.
"We have Rudy Giuliani with one hand who made up a hard drive and a computer, and on the other hand this man who made up last-minute cell phones," he said, saying he was seriously surprised.
He said the emails and texts were "not being obtained, not verified" and that, unlike Trump, Biden has published his tax returns.
The Biden campaign issued a statement calling the attacks a "smear" and there is no evidence that Joe Biden ever received "money from anyone in these deals".
"Joe Biden has never considered doing business with his family or engaging in any deal abroad," the statement said.

Trump performed a similar stunt in 2016 when he performed three women who accused President Bill Clinton of various types of sexual harassment and assault before and after the debate – Paula Jones, Kathleen Willey, and Juanita Broaddrick – and they left his rival, Democrat Hillary Clinton, in the audience .
Trump had also invited Kathy Shelton. Hillary Clinton had been her accused rapist's defense attorney.
Trump says he will speak to Hunter Biden after days of Jäger's laptop reveal.
Biden sent his own signal to a reporter who asked him about the subject a few days ago.
On Wednesday he filed when a reporter from Wisconsin asked him about it in a television interview. "This is the same rubbish as Rudy Giuliani, Trump's henchman. It's one last effort in this desperate campaign to smear me and my family," said Biden.
Trump can also use the Hunter saga to refer to China – a country he has repeatedly accused of bringing the "plague" to the US. He called China the nation's greatest opponent in "60 Minutes".
Most political observers agree that Trump is under pressure to get something out of the debate. Biden's leads were permanent and millions of his supporters have already voted. It also has an on-air advertising perk, with more money in the bank after the Trump campaign blown the more than $ 1 billion it has raised since 2017.

Biden's national lead is up to 8 percentage points in the Real Clear Politics Average. Analyst Charlie Cook suggests that observers look to the Senate races for the real "drama". A Quinnipiac University poll published on Wednesday tied the two men in Texas, 47-47.
Trump softened the ground by following up presenter Kristen Welker. However, it is likely that he will continue to ask questions from the initial debate and City Hall about the coronavirus (with more than 1,200 U.S. deaths on Wednesday alone) and his tax returns leaked to the New York Times.
A Times follow-on report this week found that Trump's company had an undisclosed bank account in China.
Biden struggled pushing whether to support packing in court, but may find his answer in his 60-minute interview, saying he would appoint a non-partisan commission to investigate court reforms.
