A "bitter" ex-managing director hijacked the public greeting of his substitute with a rant about his "back-stabbing" former colleagues after he had been fired for "insulting" WhatsApp jokes.

Dave Dawe claims he had a 35-year-old "flawless record" at asphalt paving specialist Spadeoak before researching "mother-friendly" content on a WhatsApp workgroup.

As the company's parent company, Aggregate Industries UK welcomed its new managing director, Victoria Smith, on LinkedIn, Mr. Dawe wished her luck – and complained that he was being "wrapped up" by "cowardly" colleagues, and referred to some employees as " seasoned burger flippers "and" jealous pen pushers who crawled out of the sewer.

Mr. Dawe became managing director of the ex-family company in September 2009 after having worked for the company for 25 years. This can be seen from his LinkedIn profile.

He started as Operations and Commercial Director in October 1985 before moving to Deputy Managing Director in September 2004.

SpadeOak was founded in 1976 by the Wellington family and is now owned by the manufacturer and building materials supplier Aggregate Industries. The company has worked with well-known UK sports venues including the Olympic Park, Emirates Stadium and Battersea Park.

Mr. Dawe said he was looking forward to [his] tribunal and shooting at the company's bonus policies and hiring decisions.

He urges Ms. Smith to look forward to the company's "integrity", which he says, "Try to get rid of you when your face no longer fits."

His ranting was shared on Twitter, where it quickly went viral as hundreds of social media users debated whether Dave was just "bitter" or right to make his complaints so public.

Some felt sorry for Spadeoak and said they could "see why they got rid of Dave now" – while other users said the former MD was their "hero" because he got it off his chest.

As he greets him, he wishes his successor Victoria Smith the best of luck by telling her to look forward to the company's "integrity", which he says: "Try to get rid of yourself when your face no longer fits."

Spadeoak claims to be one of the UK's leading names in asphalt paving, with projects including sports stadiums, retail parks and even the Royal Household.

DAVE DAWE & # 39; S RANT

“All the best and good luck, Victoria.

& # 39; Just enjoy the integrity, the support … massive annual salary increases of up to one percent, bonuses that are diminished by the excuses imaginable, and most importantly, the back-stabbing, cowardly * devious … sneaky methods In my opinion, if your face no longer fits, they will try to get rid of you cheaply.

“I wish you good times at Spadeoak. I did it with a great team while multiplying the bottom line by a factor of six over ten years.

Until jealous pen pushers and seasoned burger fin managers and similarly skilled staff … crawled out of their sewers to spread their deadly seeds.

& # 39; They […] decided to get all the best regarding a WhatsApp group for workers where the guys had vanilla fun on lockdown.

“Content that consisted of what most moms would laugh about was deemed so shocking and potentially offensive that after 35 years and a flawless record, I was sent off to packing.

I look forward to my tribunal. Enjoy! & # 39;

The businessman told reporters that he chose "zip [it]" before his tribunal, and that Aggregate Industries has since claimed they "take ethics and integrity very seriously".

Mr. Dawe from London said in his chatter: “All the best and good luck, Victoria.

Aggregate Industries quickly turned off comments on the post after discovering Mr Dawes' ranting – and the entire greeting has since been deleted.

The welcome message read: "We are pleased to announce the appointment of Victoria Smith as the new General Manager of Spadeoak, our specialist contractor."

Mr. Dawe's angry post has already been shared on Twitter, where it has received more than 2,000 likes and comments since then.

David Pierrie commented: & # 39; Is this one of the posts you are supposed to write but then delete – not send ??? #SchoolBoyError. & # 39;

Farra521 said, "At least Dave's got it off his chest now."

Dan Jones added, “Go on, Dave, boy. Do not hold back. & # 39;

"Due to the nature of the problem, we cannot comment further on the case."
