Danielle reported the incident to the police but asks for help in identifying this man

Danielle Greyman, 21, was hanging out with friends for a drink at the Wetherspoon Pub on Woodhouse Lane in Leeds yesterday afternoon when a dispute over social distancing broke out.

Danielle, a Jewish student at Leeds University, said, "We sat there, everything was fine, but at our table there were two strangers who did not disassociate themselves socially and refused to move."

The 21-year-old, who is in her third year in sociology, said the husband and wife continued to try to get the group of friends moving.

She admitted that she has “a big mouth that can be a problem,” added, “I don't like people trying to intimidate us.

"So I started talking about periods because I know it's the easiest way to make a man feel uncomfortable."

Danielle says the atmosphere grew tense when a homeless man came and asked if he could do magic on the outdoor tables for money, and Danielle offered him £ 5.

"The woman started yelling at me and being rude – she said I was a fool and he would spend it on heroin."

A shocking confrontation was caught on camera when this man identified himself as German before asking cinematographer Danielle if she was Jewish and saying, "We did," during a heated exchange at a Wetherspoon pub in Leeds, W. Yorkshire to gas the lot of you "

The series continued to escalate, which Danielle admits she helped before using the words "Mazel Tov" which led the man to wonder if she was Jewish.

Danielle added, "That's when I started filming because I know what comes after that question."

In the video, Danielle can be heard asking if she looks like a Jew, which the man replies to before waving at the camera.

Then he adds: “And I'm a German. We should have gassed your lot. & # 39;

When Danielle asks if he said he would gas their lot, he confirms: "We should have done it."

Danielle says, "Oh, that's really funny because what you just did is commit a hate crime."

As the exchange continues, the woman says: “We are not racist. I did not say anything

"Carry on with your drink and leave us alone."

A friend of Danielle, who cannot be seen in the video, says to the man: "You said something anti-Semitic, so if there is anything else you are filming her."

The man replies, "What the hell is anti-Semitic?"

Danielle added, “If you want to gass my people, I will take you to justice. I'm not joking – I'm going to ruin your whole damn life. & # 39;

The argument then revolves around who should sit at the table before another group, sitting behind the students, joins.

Speaking to Mail Online, Danielle added, “The table behind us was starting to get involved and one of the men said he was going to punch me in the mouth – he was a pretty big guy. I wasn't scared, but I was trembling. & # 39;

At that point, the police called, which Danielle said had never arrived, and the incident was handled by Wetherspoons staff.

“I think I was a bit scared because the people on the table behind us were acting weird and it was pretty unpredictable, but if someone says something anti-Semitic to me I'll never back down.

"There are people out there who would have been afraid to call them and challenge them."

Both the West Yorkshire Police and Wetherspoon have received comments from Mail Online.
