The 49-year-old teacher at Eton College admits he is secretly filming a boy who is changing clothes

A court heard that a former teacher at Eton College sexually touched students during regular nighttime visits while they were alone.

Matthew Mowbray, a 49-year-old father, had nine sexual activities with a child against four boys and one girl over a period of several years.

He has admitted downloading hundreds of indecent pictures of children and creating pseudo-images of boys at the prestigious public school by superimposing their faces on the naked bodies of unknown children obtained online, Reading Crown Court heard.

Mowbray, who appeared in a dark suit at his trial, has also admitted a count of voyeurism related to a series of covert images showing a boy at elite boarding school getting dressed.

John Price QC opened law enforcement Wednesday, saying Mowbray would make regular nightly visits to partially clothed boys while they were alone and his insult lasted for several years.

Mr. Price said the "manual contact" Mowbray had with the boys was "free of charge".

He added that the defendant allegedly engaged her in a conversation about college affairs, touching or caressing her arms or through the covers on her thighs.

"It is believed that this was done for his own sexual satisfaction."

Mr Price said Mowbray's alleged insult took place even after being warned by a colleague.

The prosecutor said: "If he were willing to take such risks, with the obvious potential to cause great damage to his own career and reputation, and to continue doing so in the face of explicit advice from a colleague that he should refrain, is one entitled to ask what motivated him to do so?

"Why couldn't he make himself stop?"

Mowbray of Locks Heath, Southampton, was discharged from his role at the school for £ 40,000 a year near Windsor, Berkshire after his arrest.

He's on bail.

Mowbray has admitted six cases of indecent pictures of children and one case of voyeurism, the jury heard.

The charges relate to hundreds of indecent images downloaded onto his computer during a police investigation. Some of these have been digitally altered to include boys' faces.

Mr. Price said, "Prosecutors allege that the evidence of Mr. Mowbray's activity is beyond doubt what his real purpose was when he touched the four boys."

Alleged sexual touch of an alleged female victim "is supposed to make no difference," said Mr. Price, who added: "A sexual tendency to sexually abuse children often does not distinguish between boys and girls."

He told the jury: “That most of the people who have complained about Mr. Mowbray are boys may reflect little more than the fact that his employment gave him almost unlimited access to boys of that age, but not as many opportunities to to get in touch with them young girls. & # 39;

Eton College was founded by Henry VI in 1440. Founded and has around 1,300 students between the ages of 13 and 18.
