An exotic dancer and model accused of throwing a glass at a popular neighbors actor in a strip club was tried on Monday for assault.
25-year-old dancer Danielle Lee appeared on Southport Magistrates Court in Queensland last month and was accused of attacking actor Scott McGregor, who plays Detective Mark Brennan.
Lee, using the stage name Ivy, had been working at the Hollywood Showgirls Strip Club in Surfers Paradise on April 6 when she allegedly got into a verbal argument with the actor.
The police claimed that they then picked up a glass "in a fit of anger" and threw it at the 38-year-old actor, with an inch cut on his face.
Lee was immediately fired from her job and McGregor visited the nearby Surfer's Paradise police station to file charges.
The dancer is now being charged with assault resulting in a maximum imprisonment of seven years.

She appeared in court on Monday in a striped turtleneck, black jeans and a short denim jacket and was remanded until June 7th on bail.
Lee, originally from New Zealand, was banned from the popular surfer's paradise after 12 months of work.
Owner Craig Duffy previously told The Courier Mail that she was released immediately after the alleged attack.
"I know there was a conversation between the two, but I don't know what was said – I don't know if he said something wrong or she said something wrong," he said.
"But regardless of what was said … we immediately quit the dancer. She is banned from the club. & # 39;

Lee is now banned from the club, but owner Craig Duffy said Mr. McGregor is welcome to return
Mr. Duffy said McGregor, who is married to actor and model Bianka Voight, would be happy to return if he wanted to.
Ms. Lee's employment opportunities are not entirely limited. The 25-year-old, who was modeled earlier this year for the Gold Coast surfwear brand DVCO and the German shoemaker Buffalo.
Daily Mail Australia asked Mr. McGregor's management for a comment.
