A British mother was found dead by her destroyed sister in her hotel room in Ibiza after she died in her sleep on a family trip.
Amy Connor, 23, was staying at the Ibiza Rockets Hotel in the resort of San Antonio, where her body was found by her sibling Toni, 26, and cousin Alison.
The sisters from Coleraine, Northern Ireland, had to sunbathe before returning to their room to rest on August 20.
Toni told Belfast Live, “We were down by the pool and then came back in the room for a while, so Amy went into the shower and then went to bed.
I went and sat on the balcony and ate some chips and chilled and when I came back she was still in bed.
& # 39; It was so surreal it didn't make sense. It was such a shock. & # 39;
Toni, who is a sophomore at Belfast University in journalism, praised the hotel staff for their "bulky generosity in our time of need".
She called Amy "friendly and sociable" and said her sister was "the kind of person when you would meet her, when you would definitely remember her."
Spanish police said they would not comment on what caused her death until an autopsy was performed.
In addition to her daughter Kaliyah, Amy left three siblings and her parents Carol and Arthur.
The sisters were enjoying a vacation on the Spanish party island when the tragedy struck
Toni previously paid tribute to her sister on Facebook and wrote: "I don't understand how life just goes on."
Her mother Carol wrote, "My little girl … I love you very much."
Hundreds of honors also came from Amy's friends, including one who wrote, "I knew Amy as a little teenager who came to work in Coleraine at the time, and she was always such a little ball of energy."
Another said, “My heart is breaking for all of you, no words will ever help, but I believe your little girl Amy will give you all the strength to face the long, difficult road ahead! Fly high with the angels Amy Connor. & # 39;
A third friend wrote: “Amy, you were the most beautiful soul. In all honesty, I am so shocked that you went to heaven.
“Please take a look at your family. You will be sorely missed by all of us, my heart breaking for all of you. & # 39;
The funeral will take place in Belfast today.
