A teenager was arrested on suspicion of murdering a 66-year-old man in his home during a suspected botched burglary in broad daylight.

Howard Staff was injured at his home in Wigston, Leicestershire on January 13 died in the hospital the next morning.

Four men – two 20 years old, one 21 years old and one 19 years old – were arrested on Wednesday for suspected murder, but were released on investigation.

Now a 19-year-old man has been arrested at an address in Leicester.

He remains in custody where Detectives interview him.

Detective Inspector Jonathan Blockley of the East Midlands Special Operations Unit (EMSOU) said: “A man was arrested this morning on suspicion of murder and burglary after Howard Staff's death.

& # 39; Our investigation is ongoing and we continue to appeal to anyone with information to report.

The independent charity Crimestoppers is now offering a reward of up to £ 10,000 for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of those responsible.
