More than 400 people, including Geordie Shore star Marty McKenna, were on board the SeaDeck boat on Sunday when it left Sydney's King Street Wharf at 5 p.m.

The popular event called "Beachball on SeaDeck" was sold out and the night owls enjoyed a DJ, a cocktail bar and impressive shows by live artists.

However, the event had to be ended early when emergency services were called to the ship at around 8 p.m. after a man was found unconscious.

The boat moored at the quay in Athol Bay, where NSW Ambulance medics managed to stabilize the 28-year-old before taking him to the Royal North Shore Hospital.

When the police boarded the ship, security guards informed them that another 28-year-old man had urinated on deck.

The man reportedly spat on one of the officers when they tried to arrest him.

He was arrested and charged with attendance for insulting behavior and attacking a police officer.

The boat was brought back to King Street Wharf by the police and the other passengers were asked to disembark.

7News footage showed people slowly getting out of the ship after the police closed the group. An inspection of the boat was carried out.

Tickets to the table ranged from $ 50 to $ 2,000 for a table. It is not clear whether revelers will receive a partial refund after the event ends prematurely.
