While the celebrity contestants admitted they were "disappointed not being able to leave," they were sure they would still put on a show worthy of the Tower Ballroom.

In typical ballroom homage, the opening couple paid homage to Blackpool week with a classic routine. "It was almost like we were in the Tower Ballroom!" Hostess Tess Daly commented after the dance.
"I danced in the inconical ballroom for the first time 53 years ago!" Judge Shirley Ballas said enthusiastically: "That was emotional – thank you!"
Co-judge Anton Du Beke was also impressed, calling the performance "heaven" while Craig Revel criticized Horwood Bill's "ugly" footwork but otherwise called it a "revelation".

She and Gorka Marquez danced the salsa and corrected their dubious performance the week before, which Anton thought was "wonderful" and "great".
"Amazing isolation, amazing!" Craig raved. All three judges indicated that there was an unstable landing at one point, but Gorka admitted it, with the judges accepting it and awarding them a trio of 9.

They received the highest score they have received this season – a 7/9/9.
Clara Amfos Samba has been described by Shirley as her "weakest performance" after "fumbling" on her foot.
"Too hard, the timing was up, with pigeon holes," remarked Craig. & # 39; This dance is so difficult. Unfortunately, this dance did not suit you! & # 39;

The couple performed street dance on Gonna Make You Sweat and received rave reviews from judges.
"I am shocked!" Noted Shirley when Craig raved about the dance, despite admitting, "I thought it would be all the homeboys on Kings Road trying to be all the streets".
They received a total of 29 for the performance and placed her at the top of the leaderboard.
HRVY was praised by Craig for his "powerful" tango when Shirley told him he had the potential to be a "king of the ballroom" and knocked Anton off the podium – a remark Anton seemed a little annoyed.
Caroline Quentin and Pro partner Johannes Radebe danced the Cha Cha to Rescue Me while Caroline Johannes licked during the performance.
With Johannes as a firefighter and Caroline as a housewife with a cat in need, Craig noted, “I think Johannes is the one who needs to be rescued. We could have done without the tongue action! I felt like I was watching an episode of Are You Being Served darling! & # 39;
Regardless, he and the other judges gave the couple a trio of 8s.
To wrap up the show were Ranvir Singh and Giovanni Pernice – who sparked romance rumors but denied it all week.
They did little to dispel the whispers by dancing the first Argentine tango in the series to When Doves Fly, leaving Shirley puzzled by the "intensity" of the routine.
"Well, that got me hot under my collar!" she exclaimed. “You are very feminine, but extremely powerful!
“It was like you were in your own room and we were all watching! I watched your legs entwine and your lips curl when you almost kissed! It was so hot! & # 39;
Anton commented: & # 39; You created a fantastic atmosphere. I couldn't fix my eyes on it. I loved the intensity between you and this gorgeous boy! & # 39;
And Craig agreed, “I'm amazed. So much detail has gone into this! & # 39; They received an 8/9/10 – their first 10 in the series.
