Steve Bing had been convinced that his ex-girlfriend's death was not an accident and had asked a friend to help him commit suicide shortly after she died, a year before he committed suicide. This emerges from a new report.
The 55-year-old Bing jumped to his death on June 22nd from the 27th floor of his apartment building in Los Angeles, days before the one-year anniversary, his girlfriend Allexanne Mitchum died of a drug overdose.
The multimillionaire Hollywood film investor had dated the 28-year-old actress after meeting her through her aunt and friend Carrie Mitchum, the granddaughter of Robert Mitchum.
He had planned to have children with Allexanne before the couple got into an argument on June 26 and Bing told her to stay with a friend.
About 24 hours later, Allexanne suffered an overdose after taking a Xanax pill laced with fentanyl. She was pronounced dead on July 3, 2019.

Carrie Mitchum wrote that Bing and her niece (left) were friends with Bill and Hilary Clinton, and she posted on Facebook four days before Allexanne's death to show them off with Rolling Stones member Ronnie Wood (in orange).
Friends later described how Bing had been plagued with guilt about her death and didn't believe it was an accident.
Allexanne's aunt Carrie announced that she would receive late night calls from Bing asking for updates on the investigation and afterlife questions.
"He started asking me if I believe in the afterlife," Mitchum, 55, told Town & Country. “Did I have dreams about her? And if so, what did she say to me? I think it really shook him. & # 39;
Carrie said Bing would bring the matter up again about a month before he died when she visited him at his apartment.
She remembered him and said, “You know what? It does not matter. You may or may not believe in God and the result is the same. It's irrelevant. & # 39;
"I felt like he needed answers I didn't have," Carrie said.
American Express filed a creditors suit for $ 97,738.28 in Los Angeles on Wednesday. It's not clear where the fees come from. Prior to his death on June 22, the 55-year-old had an estimated net worth of $ 590 million, according to various reports
The reveal comes as his daughter Kira Kerkorian, whom he shares with ex-tennis pro Lisa Bonder, battles a $ 7 million contract breach by entrepreneur Matthew Khoury against Bing in April. She was appointed special administrator of her late father's estate last month after successfully proving that she was his biological daughter
In August 2019, about a month after her Allexanne passed away, Bing, who had a history of substance abuse and was known to be very private, approached a close friend to help him commit suicide.
The confidante who had managed Bing's finances met him at the Beverly Hills Hotel, where he could talk him out of it, he told the magazine.
He described finding Bing in his bed with the curtains drawn after several days of drug use and "feeling sorry".
After their conversation, the two went to a steak dinner that seemed to lift Bing's mood, at least temporarily.
"He looks at me and says," I think it's good that I'm alive. Maybe I shouldn't kill myself, "the friend, who wanted to remain anonymous, told the publication.
Reports have surfaced since Bing's death that the film producer struggled with his sanity and unpaid deaths before taking his own life.
Last week, DailyMail.com exclusively reported that Bing had spent its final days drowning in debt and did so Amex owed nearly $ 100,000 when he committed suicide.

Prior to his death on June 22, the 55-year-old had an estimated net worth of $ 590 million, according to various reports.
However, his estate was valued at only $ 337,000 – though his real estate was not included in that valuation.

Liz Hurley paid tribute to Bing on Instagram when news of his suicide spread. She said she was "incredibly sad" while describing him as "a sweet, kind man".
The revelation comes as his daughter Kira Kerkorian – whose mother is former professional tennis player Lisa Bonder – battles a $ 7 million breach of contract filed against Bing by entrepreneur Matthew Khoury in April.
Kira, 21, was named Special Administrator of her late father's estate last month after successfully proving she was his biological daughter.

And on October 1, Kamyar Vaghar, a former partner of several Bing companies, filed a protection order urging a judge to block a subpoena from Khoury in his lawsuit against the late film producer.
Before Kira was named administrator, the court wanted her to get approval from the sole beneficiary of Bing's estate, the Clinton Foundation.
Last month, Kira provided the court with a paternity test that showed Stephen Bing (deceased) convincingly appears to be Kira Rose Kerkorian's biological father.
A custody chain report, also obtained from DailyMail.com, revealed that Bing's DNA was removed from his body at the morgue – a sign of Kira's plans to challenge the will.
The Hollywood film investor, who received an inheritance of $ 600 million from his grandfather at the age of 18, made a will in 2001 that disinherited any children he might have had.
But despite having excluded Kira and his son Damian Hurley from his will with British actress Elizabeth Hurley, Bing later made ties with Damian and Kira and even fought last year to get them accepted into their grandfather's trust.
Bing was first exposed as Kira's biological father in a legal battle between Tennis Bonder and her ex-husband, billionaire Kirk Kerkorian, who believed Kira was his daughter.
A private investigator dug dental floss out of Bing's trash to get a DNA sample for the paternity test, Bing claimed.
