The official Christmas card from the Spanish royal family was shared online to mark the annual Christian celebration.
For the first time in five years, King Felipe (52) and Queen Letizia (48) have decided not to appear in the festive flyer with their daughters.

Growing up: The teenagers Princess Leonor and Infanta Sofía last appeared on the family's annual Christmas card in 2015 without their parents (picture from left in February: Princess Leonor, King Felipe VI. And Queen Letizia, Infanta Sofia).
The members of the royal family each signed their titles on the card under a message that offers hope for the future
The card includes a recent message in Spanish and English that reads: "May this Christmas bring us a particularly hopeful New Year 2021."
Each member of the royal family signed their titles under the message to add a personal touch to the card.
In the photo the sisters Leonor and Sofía, who look the same, are both casually dressed. Her hair is combed back in high ponytails and there are no face masks.
15 year old Leonor shows off her seasonal style in a cream colored high neck sweater and a black body warmer. Sofia wears a checked coat and beige knitwear.
The photo chosen for the Christmas card was likely taken during the family's visit to Somao, northern Spain, in October (picture)
The sweet snap is believed to have been taken while the Spanish royal family was visiting Somao in October.
The area was named the best Asturian village in 2020 the day after the Princesa de Asturias awards.
King Felipe and Queen Letizia previously alternated family portraits and photos of just their two daughters for their annual Christmas cards. This year, however, it is the first time since 2015 that Leonor and Sofía have performed alone.
The foursome were last photographed together at the meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Princess of Girona Foundation.

King Juan Carlos and Queen Sofía also issued their annual Christmas card, choosing instead of a photo a handout with a painting by Juan Correa de Vivar from the Prado Museum.
It is expected that more royals will be handing out their festival tickets in the next few days.
The Christmas photo of the family of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge shows the "close family unit" and that Kate Middleton is "the backbone of the unit", as one body language expert has claimed
A royal fan shared a picture of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and their three children on Saturday, believed to have been taken online at their Amner Hall residence in Norfolk, with a sweet note to the NHS inside.
The cute family snapshot of the group sitting on haystacks in front of firewood was shared by the royalty 101 fan site and was not officially released by Kensington Palace.
