Sam Burgess was charged with intimidation after an alleged argument with his estranged wife's father.
The 30-year-old Rabbitohs striker visited his two children on the property in the southern highlands of New South Wales when he allegedly got into a fight with Mitchell Hooke on Saturday 19 October.
According to reports, Mr. Hooke asked the NRL superstar to leave the family's three-acre Glenquarry farm – which Burgess did – but the police were called around 5 p.m. that day.
Officials filed an injunction against Burgess (AVO), and court documents showed that he was not allowed to get anywhere near the house.
The alleged clash was followed up by the police and Burgess’s lawyer was brought to trial on Wednesday.

"One thing is certain, it is definitely over and they are now trying to figure out how to become parents in the long term," a source told The Daily Telegraph.
But an insider claimed things just didn't work and Sam moved out a few weeks ago.
The source added: "The most important thing for them is that their children are happy and healthy, that is their priority."
