The body of the alleged assassin, a real estate entrepreneur from the Galician city of Vigo who could not accept his former wife's new relationship, was found near the Rande Bridge in Vigo Bay on Wednesday morning.
Spanish police alerted colleagues in Portugal who had been looking for the man suspected of the brutal murder of a 53-year-old man in their rented holiday home in the village of Gondufe, a 45-minute drive south just across the street, in front of their partner in the Portuguese border Municipality of Ponte de Lima.
