Robert Pattinson reportedly tested positive for COVID-19 and forced filming of The Batman to stop filming.
Sources told Vanity Fair that the 34-year-old actor contracted the deadly virus just days after resuming production of the big budget film.
It comes after MailOnline revealed this filming of the new Batman movie was stopped after a crew member tested positive Covid19.
Sources on the £ 100 million blockbuster set said the cast and crew were sent home after one of the team members became infected with the virus.
Filming of the Robert Pattinson film at the Warner Bros studio in Hertfordshire has stalled, according to a source.

An insider at the Leavesden studio said, “We received a memo telling us that a member of the crew had a positive Covid-19 test.
Everyone on the set talked about it. We don't know who tested positive, but it caused chaos on the schedule. & # 39;
Filming of the new film "The Batman" only resumed three days ago after it was suspended in early March due to the pandemic.
Production teams had gathered at the Leavesden, Hertfordshire studios in August to work on sets after most of them had been taken on vacation.
On hold: Sources on the £ 100 million blockbuster set said the cast and crew were sent home after one of the team members became infected with the virus.
The shutdown will cost Warner Bros hundreds of thousands of pounds, and it may even delay the release of the movie, which is supposed to be a cruder version of the Marvel comic book hero.
When production stopped in March, Robert, 34, had to stay in the UK with other cast members.
Others living in Los Angeles have returned but had to remain in quarantine for two weeks before showing up on the set as directed by the government.
Director Matt Reeves still has three months to shoot to complete the highly anticipated film, which is due to hit theaters in October 2021.
The shooting in Leavesden, where the Harry Potter films were filmed, takes place under the working title "Vengeance".
A source said: “Everyone was talking about it on set. We don't know who tested positive, but it caused chaos on the schedule ”(Robert pictured in October 2019)
The crew member said, “Everyone was excited to get back to work and it was a blow that production stopped just three days after filming started.
"We have all been told to step down until further notice and we don't expect to be filming again for at least two weeks."
The source said many of the crew found it ironic that the Batman movie was stopped by the coronavirus, as the killer virus is believed to have originated from bats.
"It's ironic about all of this that you'd think Batman would be immune since it all comes from bats," the insider said.
Best known for his roles in the Twilight Saga films, Robert took on the role of Crusader last year after Ben Affleck, who developed the ninth film with Batman, left.

Irish star Colin Farrell plays The Penguin and his prosthetic makeup was so realistic that other castmates didn't recognize the actor when he showed up on the set.
Jeffrey Wright, who plays Commissioner Gordon, said on the Jess Cagle Show, "I've worked with this makeup artist before and it's just amazing."
"Colin walked up to the set one day and I walked right past him (laughs). I said," Okay, dude, what's up, where's Colin? Will we shoot? "It was pretty remarkable."
The transformation was revealed in a teaser trailer released by director Reeves at a fan event in the United States last week.
