Prince Andrew was spotted enjoying a horseback ride around Windsor Castle this morning despite the harsh winter weather.
The 60-year-old Duke of York, who lives in the Royal Lodge, just five kilometers from the residence, put on a black windbreaker and a riding helmet for the trip.
Accompanied by a bridegroom, the king seemed to be having an in-depth conversation and pictured himself expressing himself with one arm in the air.
His early morning ride takes place as the royal family prepares to spend the festive season apart. The Queen and Duke of Edinburgh have a “quiet” Christmas party at Windsor Castle instead of inviting the family to Sandringham.

The royal family opted for an unconventional Christmas arrangement, despite the fact that the lockdown rules were relaxed during the festive period.
The Queen 94 and Prince Philip, 99, traditionally spend the festive season with a close family in Sandringham, Norfolk.
This year, however, the couple is likely to spend Christmas Day without one of their four children for the first time since 1949.
Prince Andrew, widely regarded as the Queen's favorite child, appeared pleased as he drove around the grounds this morning.
He wore a white face mask as he sat behind the wheels of his black Range Rover after riding.

It is likely that the Duke of York will celebrate Christmas with Sarah Ferguson and her daughters Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice and their husbands Jack Brooksbank and Edo Mapelli Mozzi.
He has rarely been seen since Buckingham Palace announced he was in November 2019 would step down from royal duties for the foreseeable future after disastrously attempting to clear his name in a BBC interview.
In the BBC's Newsnight interview with Emily Maitlis, the Duke denied claims he slept with Virginia Giuffre, who says she was trafficked three times by the late pedophile billionaire Jeffrey Epstein, including when she was 17 and among the USA underage was right.

The Duke has been criticized for not showing enough empathy for the pedophile's victims and for not showing remorse for his friendship with Epstein.
In a statement released last year on his parents' wedding anniversary, Andrew said the Queen had given her permission to retire from royal duties for the foreseeable future.
He said, "The circumstances surrounding my previous association with Jeffrey Epstein have seriously affected my family's work."
PRINCE ANDREW's name was missing from Maxwell's court ruling
The Duke of York's name was removed from Ghislaine Maxwell's court documents.
Alleged victim Virginia Roberts Giuffre accused Prince Andrew of having sex with her when she was 17 years old.
Last month, more than 400 pages were published for the first time. Maxwell is currently in prison in New York pending trial against the sex trafficking.
In her adopted home of Cairns in the far north of Queensland, the American Giuffre said that although she was glad that the documents had been unsealed, she had asked why several names, including that of the prince, had been edited.
She said to ABC, “I'm very angry.
"I don't understand why we're protecting someone who hides behind mommy's skirt and says," I didn't do it. "His name should have been out there in the dump."
Prince Andrew added that he continues to unequivocally regret my ill-considered association with Epstein and pledged to assist "any appropriate law enforcement agency."
A year after retiring from his public role, it is widely expected that the Duke will never return to royal duties.
He has seen a war of words between his camp and the American authorities over his availability to answer questions about Epstein.
Prince Andrew was accused by US attorney Geoffrey Berman, who led the investigation against Epstein, of trying to falsely portray himself to the public as eager and cooperative.
But the Duke's legal team said he made three offers to provide testimony.
The call to speak to authorities was renewed after Maxwell appeared in court in the US and was accused of facilitating Epstein's sexual exploitation of underage girls. Her trial is scheduled for July next year.
As the royal family got used to video calling engagements during the coronavirus outbreak, Prince Andrew, who categorically denies any wrongdoing, stayed out of the public spotlight.
The Duke's 60th birthday in February was a quiet affair and his proposed military promotion to admiral was postponed at his request.
He rarely appeared in April when he was pictured on Instagram with his ex-wife Sarah, Duchess of York, packing cupcakes into care packages for a hospice.
