A heartbreaking picture of the two-year-old little girl and her & # 39; NHS worker mother & # 39; found dead in an alleged suicide has been released by police.

Little Ziana Bagoan snuggles up to Shiwangi Bagoan, 25, in the poignant picture posted after they were found dead in their Hounslow apartment on Monday.

Ms. Bagoan is believed to have worked as an anesthetist's assistant for the NHS Foundation Trust at University College Hospitals.

The Trust described the mother last night as a "valued member of our team" who is "missing from her colleagues".

A statement added: “We are extremely saddened by the death of Shiwangi and her child. Our deepest condolences go to your family, friends and loved ones at this very difficult time.

"With the police currently investigating the circumstances of the deaths, it would not be appropriate to make any further comments at this time."

Ms. Bagoan's friend told MailOnline that the mother was a "lovely woman" who had fallen in love with little Zia. Others said she bought bikes for both of them last week.

The friend added, “I only saw her last week and she seemed fine. Shiwangi lived with her mother and daughter. As far as I know, she had no partner.

& # 39; She fell in love with little Zia. She was a beautiful woman, a good friend of mine and I'm just devastated. I can't believe she'd hurt Zia or kill herself. & # 39;

The Metropolitan Police rushed to the fourth floor apartment of Drake Court with paramedics on Monday.

Detectives from the Met's Specialist Crime Command have since opened an investigation, but no one else is believed to have been involved in the tragedy.

DCI Helen Rance, who is in charge of the investigation, said last night: “This is a tragic incident. We are very sad about the death of Shiwangi, a young mother and her daughter.

“Our deepest condolences go to your family, friends and colleagues at this difficult and difficult time.

"The officers are currently investigating the circumstances of her death and the investigation continues."

Vipul Limbachia, who runs a nearby dry cleaner, said: “There were around 15 vehicles, ambulances, first responders, police cars and patrol cars in front of the apartment block.

“I knew it was serious, but I didn't find out until this morning that it was a mother who apparently killed her daughter and then herself.

& # 39; The apartments are new, they have only been open for about 18 months to a year. Almost all apartments are rented out to some that are jointly owned.

25-year-old Shiwangi Bagoan was found dead on Monday shortly after 4 p.m. with her two-year-old daughter Ziana Bagoan in their apartment in Hounslow. The couple is pictured together in this picture given to MailOnline by a friend.

"Quite a few of the people who live there work for the NHS."

Local residents, who saw a police car and officers arrive at the settlement on Monday evening, also said a woman and a young child were escorted out of the building.

A 68-year-old woman who lives on the same block but did not want to be named said, “I just looked out the window and saw that the police were outside.

Then a woman and a child came out. The child was about seven or eight years old.

& # 39; You didn't say anything. I believe they were accompanied by the police and there was a tagged police car.

“I don't know if more was parked elsewhere as there were many, many police officers.

& # 39; It is very annoying to have a wife and a two year old child. It's very shocking. & # 39;

A 24-year-old man who lives in the building but also refused to be named added, “Oh my god, it's very worrying.

“I've never seen anything like this so close to my home in my life. It's pretty awful. I didn't hear anything last night. It's very quiet here and it's a great apartment. & # 39;

He added: “Because of Covid, everyone is trying to avoid all contact with anyone. It was very quiet. & # 39;

28-year-old Kai Huo, who lives just above the apartment where the bodies were found, said, “It is really very shocking.

“I didn't hear anything and worked from home all day yesterday. I was still on the phone around 6 p.m. and heard nothing strange. & # 39;

In a statement on Monday, city police said: “The woman and the girl were related.

The next of kin have been informed and are supported by specialist officials.

& # 39; An investigation is being conducted by detectives from the Met's Specialist Crime Command (Homicide).

"While the investigation is still in its early stages, officials currently do not believe anyone else was involved in this incident."
