Penny Lancaster proudly shows off her new uniform as she prepares to go to the City of London Police Department as a special police officer
She recently returned from a luxurious, sun-kissed break in Croatia with her rock star husband.
And Penny Lancaster showed that she was back at work when she cut out a section of her uniform for her new police job.
The 49-year-old model is training as a volunteer special constable in the City of London with the Metropolitan Police.

Rod Stewart's wife logged on after attending police documentation.
The star shared a photo of himself in a police hat and wrote on Instagram: “I am preparing for duty today with my uniform. I hope to be able to join the #cityoflondonpolice family after completing my apprenticeship beginning in September !!
"I am very happy to volunteer as a special constable in the community and make a difference. # Fairness # Respect # Accountability # Integrity # Openness # Leadership # Honesty # Objectivity # Selflessness."
The Loose Women panelist signed up as a Special Constable after participating in Channel 4 & # 39; s Famous and Fighting Crime, where she worked with Cambridgeshire police officers.
In a "terrible" experience while filming, she was once confronted by a drug dealer who threatened to stab her.
Despite the fear, the previous model took so much of her time in uniform that she has now successfully completed the application process for the part-time position.

She said earlier, “I had to take exams, take English and math exams, and interview two officials. And then I did a fitness test, which was a pretty tricky beep test, so I had to get fit and passed.
“Then I had to do this massive form of review and go through all the personal details of myself, my family, the people I know, and all of these things.

“Now I'm waiting for the training to start so that I can serve the community.
"I'm going to be a cop at the City Police in London."
The mother of two, who married Sir Rod in 2007, said the experience made her realize how underfunded the police are.
Both her husband and her parents admitted concerns that she might join the group, but Penny said in an Instagram live chat with her former Strictly Come Dancing partner Ian Waite that she was determined to rise to the challenge.
She added: “My mother and father are not so enthusiastic about the idea, but I can't wait.
"I feel sorry for the police right now because they really, really cut out their jobs for them to create social distance while trying to arrest someone."
Sir Rod, 75, said earlier: “Nobody has ever been able to stop Penny if she chooses to do something. And I'm always all the way behind her.
"But am I afraid for her? Yes a little. Did you see this drug addict who threatened to stab her on the TV show with a needle?
"As long as she's accompanied by another policeman at all times, she'll be fine."
