The real estate tycoon, a close friend of actor Leonardo DiCaprio, dated Campbell for five years from 2008 after meeting her at the Cannes Film Festival.
His fortune included a yacht, the Lady In Blue, a private jet, a space house in Moscow, an apartment in Knightsbridge and a holiday home in Ibiza.
He showered Campbell with gifts, including time in the presidential suite for £ 10,000 a night at the Ritz Carlton Moscow.

There were regular rumors of an engagement or wedding, but he was married to his wife Ekaterina. They separated in 1998 but never got divorced.
This comes after Campbell recently ditched suggestions that she should stop talking to her other ex-boyfriend, Skepta.
The supermodel was romantically linked to the 37-year-old grime artist in 2018, though they never publicly confirmed their relationship.
After commenting on a sharp breakup with her last boyfriend, fans were quick to claim she spoke of Skepta, which she has since denied.
Meanwhile, Campbell recently ditched proposals to stop speaking to her other ex-boyfriend, Skepta (pictured together in Paris last year).
In an Instagram post in June, the Vogue cover star shared photos of herself snuggling up to the rapper as she wrote, & # 39; STOP. All love between us @skeptagram & # 39 ;.
Naomi spoke to Times Weekend magazine and said that she is on good terms with all of her former ex-boyfriends but admits she is on good terms with her & # 39; last & # 39; Ex is not friends.
When she talked about who she had dated, she said, “Why don't you say it the other way around? Surely it was their privilege as much as mine to be with them? But yes, I had some wild and exciting times until I changed my life at the age of 29.
"Whatever they say about me, I've been friends with all of my exes … except the last one."
When asked if she meant Skepta, she simply said, "A woman never discusses the details of her private life."
MailOnline has asked Campbell's representative to comment on the court documents.
