A Morrison employee was fired after yelling at a black shopper and calling him a "black C ***".
The clerk threw abuse on the black customer when security held the man back and staff tried to hold the worker back in a shop in Palmers Green, London.
A Morrisons spokesman said, "The person in question no longer works for Morrisons."
Shocked bystanders watched as colleagues repeatedly struggled to keep the woman under control and to stay away from the man.

The client was held back by security when he said to the woman, "They have to fire you."
The video shows the man being constrained by security while a woman hears screaming outside the camera.
The Morrison agent, still out of sight, says, "I just told you you flipped the card."
The black customer replies: "They have to fire you."
The clerk yells back, "Come and hit me, hit me, then I can take you to court."
Suddenly the woman storms into the gaze of the camera at the man and screams: “Hit me. I will make someone hurt you. “You will hate me.
"You do not know who I am. I'm tired of everyone abusing me, I'm tired of that.
"I'm coming back from my vacation and every time I come to this store someone is going to mentally abuse me."

Astonished shoppers gasp as they gather to watch the dramatic altercation.
The video was posted to Facebook with the caption, "Morrison's employees call a customer" Black C *** "absolutely shocking."
Social media users were stunned and outraged and asked for the employee to be fired.
