Both Trumps trusted her very much, having been with them since 2015.
During her tenure as press secretary, she had the distinction of never holding a press conference in the press conference room of the White House.
& # 39; It was an honor to serve the country at @WhiteHouse. I am very proud to have been part of the @FLOTUS @MELANIATRUMP mission to help children everywhere, and proud of the many accomplishments of this administration. Unsubscribe now, ”Grisham tweeted from her official account.
Grisham ran into White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows when he was joining the administration. He shook up public relations and appointed Kayleigh McEnany as press secretary.

But last month, Grisham was hit on the New York Post with a "hit" in which White House insiders accused first lady Meghan Markle of missing a magazine cover.
"Out of nowhere and a complete hit," a senior administrator described it to DailyMail.com. "I've been trying to figure out what logic can be in there and I can't find it." There are two months until the end of the administration. I really don't understand where this is coming from. "
The New York Post quoted "insiders who have worked for the White House for the past four years" and "administration loyalists" claiming that the first lady was "poorly served" by Grisham.
One of the examples they cite is the September 2020 issue of British magazine Tatler, which featured Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, on the cover instead of Melania Trump, who gave the magazine an interview via email was seen.
The New York Post is known to be one of President Trump's favorite newspapers and one that he reads daily – which means the piece was sure to get noticed by the Commander in Chief.
