In addition to their suffering, the two were seen attempting to return to their hotel in a beach buggy but were forced to call a taxi after the vehicle stopped.

The couple's outing comes just hours after it was revealed that Caroline Flack's mother Christine made derogatory comments about Lewis online.

Lewis was with Caroline when the Love Island hostess took her own life in February while waiting for trial for assaulting him.

In a series of comments posted on Instagram under pictures of Lewis, Christine claimed her daughter's relationship with Lewis "ended her life".

In comments posted three weeks ago – shortly after Lewis and his new girlfriend Lottie were reported "grown close" – Christine wrote on a November 2019 photo of Caroline and Lewis: "He's in the same pose now, a different girl ".

Christine's handle is @ccjep – her Instagram is private, she doesn't have a profile picture – nor has she posted any pictures, which means that her comments have been scrutinized beforehand.

The grieving mother previously commented in a post on Caroline's Instagram account that she and Lewis sunbathed together in August 2019.

Although the photo was uploaded last summer, Christine posted comments under the post almost five months ago.

She wrote: "This relationship ended your life." She then added, "Want that deleted so badly."

During Caroline's investigation, which concluded this month, Christine said a photo Lewis "sent to a friend" of the bloody crime scene, which appeared in media coverage of the case, "killed" her.

Christine said during live evidence that her daughter told her Lewis sent the picture to one of his former friends.

Lewis is currently on vacation in Ibiza with new girlfriend Lottie.

Although the couple initially denied having a date, it was shown very lovingly abroad after landing on a private jet on the Balearic island earlier this week.

Lottie and Lewis are said to have bonded over the grief of losing their respective loved ones.

She has unfortunately lost her mother and sister in recent years, and Lewis lost Caroline in February.

Lottie's sister Félicité, 18, died three years after the death of her mother Johannah, who died of cancer, after an accidental drug overdose.

Lottie is believed to have got to know Lewis better at a May house party hosted by Caroline's close friend Lou Teasdale, 36, and held three months after her tragic death.

In late July, a source exclusively told MailOnline: “Lewis and Lottie grew close after hanging out at a party at Lou & # 39; s house.

“They have been meeting in secret for weeks, but their newfound friendship has not gone unnoticed by mutual friends.

"Not all of Caroline's friends are happy with the way things have turned out, but they can understand that both Lottie and Lewis were there for each other as a shoulder to cry on."

It comes after Caroline's tearful mother beat up prosecutors on a "show trial" of her daughter when her investigation found police were pressing for the Love Island host to be prosecuted.

Caroline, known for hosting Love Island and The X Factor, was found hung up at her home.

She was due on trial for assaulting her boyfriend, former tennis player and model Lewis after police arrived on the bloodstained scene and labeled it a "horror movie".

Christine issued a written statement to the court alleging that her daughter had been "disappointed" by the authorities.

"I believe Caroline has been seriously disappointed by the authorities, and in particular the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS), for following up the case," she said.

Heartbreaking: During Caroline's investigation, the photo of a bloody crime scene was discussed with Christine and said, “Lewis sent the photo of the blood and sent it to his friend. That killed her & # 39; (Caroline pictured in December 2019)

“I think it was a show trial. I think the prosecutor was rude to Caroline and my family. I was threatened with arrest when I tried to speak. & # 39;

Flack's mother was seen crying on the video link as her testimony was read by Coroner Mary Hassell at Poplar Coroner & # 39; s Court in east London.

Christine also beat up a senior Met police officer for appealing against the CPS's decision to warn her daughter after her arrest, despite officers found her at the scene with a self-harmed injury.

Accused Detective Inspector Lauren Bateman of treating her more harshly because of her celebrity status, Ms. Flack said of the investigation, "She (Caroline) cut her arm (to seriously injure herself) … and you appealed, to do this you have been prosecuted, you never bothered to see her.

“If it had been … an ordinary person, you would not have been prosecuted. I see domestic violence and I just think that you should be disgusted with yourself so that there is nothing we can do to bring Caroline back. I hope that you will regret this in retrospect. This girl killed herself because you appealed. «

The "appeal" related to an initial prosecutor's decision to treat Flack with caution before DI Bateman, the chief Met officer responsible for arresting the celebrity, filed for formal charges instead. A senior lawyer would have made the final decision.

Prior to Ms. Flack's intervention, DI Bateman had refused to treat the presenter harshly because she was famous and insisted that if she were faced with the case again today, she would "do nothing different". She said caution was inappropriate because Flack did not admit her guilt in a police interview.

Flack vigorously denied assaulting Mr. Burton and pleaded not guilty to beating Highbury Corner Magistrates Court on December 23rd.

Her sister Jody said she tried suicide before appearing in court, and then twice before hanging herself in her London apartment.

The investigation was conducted by several witnesses, including friends, family and medical professionals, who confirmed Flack's restless state of mind in the months before her death.

Flack's sister Jody said she believed the presenter tried to kill herself in December before appearing in the district court for the first time for assault.

She said Flack was "in a very anxious state" before she died and had previously called an ambulance for her four times.

"Heartbreak is something Caroline found extremely difficult," said Jody. She attempted suicide the night before she appeared in court. I think the shame … was too much to deal with. & # 39;

Brian Wells, a doctor who was called to Flack's hotel room the night before she appeared in court, said the host was drunk and appeared to have "taken a small overdose". However, she was neither suicidal nor needed hospital treatment, the court was told.

The investigation detailed her poor mental health in the months before her death, including evidence at the scene that she had injured herself.

During the investigation, the The photo of a bloody crime scene that appeared in media coverage of Flack's case was discussed.

Trial: During the investigation, a coroner ruled Caroline killed herself after hearing that she would definitely be prosecuted for assaulting her boyfriend (pictured in October 2019).

Christine said during live evidence that her daughter told her Lewis sent the picture to one of his former friends. It was later published by some parts of the press.

Caroline's friend Mollie Grosberg replied, “As far as I know, this is the honest truth of God. She never said a word to me that he sold the photo or gave it to an ex-girlfriend. I was never told that. & # 39;

Flack's mother replied, "She told me and it was devastating that she found out."

Lisa Ramsarran, a deputy chief prosecutor in north London, said the CPS had considered her sanity in deciding whether to approve a charge against her, but decided the risk was "low".

During the investigation, a coroner ruled Caroline killed herself after hearing that she would definitely be prosecuted for assaulting her boyfriend.

Caroline was found dead the day after the prosecutor's hearing for allegedly assaulting her boyfriend.

Judging suicide, coroner Mary Hassell said, “I am perfectly pleased that she intended to cause her own death. She hanged herself.

“I think the reason she took her own life was because she now knew she was going to be prosecuted for sure, and she knew she would face the media, press and the public – anything would come down on them. For me, that's essentially all. & # 39;

Caroline Flack wrote a tearful final note hoping that she and her boyfriend would "find harmony" overheard her investigation.

On a coffee table, a paramedic saw a note that said, "I hope Lewis and I can find harmony one day."
