Katie Price has spoken openly about her struggle with the size of her eldest son Harvey, with the teen now weighing 28 pounds.

The former glamor model, 42, explained how she had to take drastic steps to cut down on her food and has even started locking the fridge, reports The Sun.

Harvey, 18, has several disabilities, including blindness and ADHD, and also has an excessive appetite caused by the genetic disorder Prader-Willi syndrome.

The infatuated mother of five also announced that Harvey put down two stones in just two months. If he is denied food, he can break the walls and become frustrated.

Getting her son to exercise and change his diet isn't easy for Katie, however, as she recently made an appeal for fitness equipment on Instagram.

She also said the teen is also known for eating while sleeping and was once caught looking for snacks in a pals pocket and eating a pizza made from frozen food.

Katie also said that Harvey, who is now wearing 7XL clothing, doesn't understand why she would want him to lose weight.

In early November Katie appealed to fans to help procure fitness equipment before a second lockdown in the UK that will force gyms to close.

Katie wrote, “Can someone help? I want to rent a treadmill and rowing machine for Harvey that can hold his weight, 28 half stones, and other fitness equipment as I need to lock in to ensure he can exercise at home. Please help DM me. & # 39;

Following his health crisis in July, a spokesperson for Katie MailOnline told she would be making lifestyle changes for her son and trying to reduce his weight.

In June, Harvey was admitted to intensive care after having difficulty breathing. He had extreme chest pain and a rising temperature and was believed to be at risk of organ failure.

Katie remembered eight doctors crowding around him in the resuscitation room and said she was "shocked" by the terrible ordeal. He was released after 10 days.

It wasn't an easy month for the family, and Harvey was also addressed in a gruesome online video.

An emotional Katie told The Sun, "They're taking him in because he's black, obese and disabled."

On November 5, a 52-year-old man was arrested for the racist blackface video mocking the disabled Harvey.

He lives in home care due to Harvey's complex needs but was at home with Katie amid the coronavirus pandemic.
