Katie Price denies "lavish lifestyle" in Zoom's call for bankruptcy

Katie Price insisted today that she did not lead a "lavish lifestyle" during a bankruptcy hearing from a Maldives retreat for £ 1,400 a night.

The 42-year-old model said 90 percent of her trotting was on business and even gave her current five-star vacation as a "work assignment".

For the past few days, she has flaunted her luxury vacation with 31-year-old friend Carl Woods on Instagram, showing off how she relaxes on yachts or by the pool.

It is believed to be her sixth vacation since she went bankrupt last November.

The mother of five, once valued at £ 45million, joined a hearing through Zoom after judges were made aware of her jet setting through an anonymous tip-off.

At the hearing, Price said, “I guess I wasn't easy to contact. I was physically and emotionally in places, ”said the sun.

Price reportedly had seen a therapist and hired an accountant to help her manage her finances.

She announced that she was considering selling her pink Range Rover for scrap and just didn't explain it to bailiffs because it was "not drivable".

Her bankruptcy came after the High Court found she had failed to adhere to a plan to repay her debt, which was estimated at around £ 800,000.

The mother of five is not due to be released from bankruptcy until next month and is supposed to pay her money to the creditors.

This includes both money she makes from work and income from selling her things.

During her visit to the Maldives, Price raved about her five-month boyfriend, Woods.

She posted a beloved selfie on Instagram with the former Love Island star while they were on a yacht at sea.

She said, "It feels so amazing to finally be happy and satisfied thanks to @carljwoods."

The TV star also shared a video of her stunning property and the beach that surrounds it, which she dubbed "This Resort Is Amazing".

Price used to be able to fund her lifestyle through modeling, reality TV shows, and fragrances when she was at the height of her fame in the 1990s and 2000s.

But her only regular source of income these days seems to be her Quest Red TV show My Crazy Life, her YouTube channel, and plugging paid products into her Instagram account.

She was forced to give up her £ 1.3 million 11-bedroom Mucky Mansion earlier this year after signing the property with a trustee.

The West Sussex house that Katie lived in with her children included a swimming pool, tennis court and horse stables.

Price took out a second mortgage on the property in 2015 but had to make monthly payments of £ 12,300. The backlog is now estimated at £ 100,000.

She is also believed to have spent £ 120,000 on housekeepers, gardeners and nannies.

Price was previously married to singer Peter Andre, cage fighter Alex Reid, and former stripper Kieran Hayler.
