Katie Price revealed her shock after being illegally advised to give her puppy Rolo cannabis oil before suffocating to death in an armchair.
The former glamor model, 42, reportedly could put herself through a tube to give the dog CBD oil after being given the substance in a "puppy basket" by the dog's breeders.
The late French Bulldog, bought as a gift for her daughter Princess' 13th birthday, fell asleep under an electric chair after the non-psychoactive cannabis derivative and later suffocated after the family's nanny sat on the chair.

Katie told The Mirror that she didn't know it was illegal to give the substance to dogs without a veterinary prescription under the 2013 Veterinary Medicines Regulations.
The publication reported that offenders could face a fine or a maximum prison sentence of two years.
Katie has since announced that a veterinarian who told her she gave the puppy CBD oil may have encouraged him to find a comfortable place to sleep like the chair.

A spokeswoman for Katie said, “Katie was told the oil was dog-friendly and safe. It was approved by the breeder. Katie will team up with Peta and whatever other groups need her to speak up. & # 39;
A source close to her added: “As terrible as it sounds, this will bring some comfort to Katie as she understands why Rolo crawled into the room.
“She also feels disappointed with a system that allows CBD oil to be marketed for pets, even though it's illegal. Katie has had backlash, hate mail, death threats and trolling over Rolo's tragic death. As a family, they continue to mourn. & # 39;

The dog breeders who sold Katie the puppy told the news agency they had no idea it was against the law, claiming that the lack of THC prevented dogs from getting sleepy.
They added that they had also advised giving the puppy a small amount and suggested that they did not know how much Katie had given Rolo.
MailOnline has asked Katie's rep and the dog breeder for a comment.
Katie Price was criticized by animal rights activists in July after her daughter Princess Rolo's puppy was tragically suffocated.
The French bulldog died after being stuck in an electric armchair while the reality star was packing some bags in another room, The Mirror reported.
Rolo was given as a birthday present to the princess and is the third dog in the family to tragically die.

Animal rights activists have been spanking Katie online since news of her newest dogs' tragic deaths broke, and many have even contacted breeders.
Elisa Allen, director of the animal rights group PETA, told Spiegel: “Katie is no longer allowed to buy animals.
"In the past few years alone, at least three dogs and a horse have died on their watch … their keeping costs the lives of wonderful animals."
However, the RSPCA said they had no say in whether they had received legal complaints about the reality star's animals.

Dog breeders JRC Bullies went to their Instagram page after animal lovers asked them why Princess got a dog.
They asked people to stop sending "hateful messages of hate" and said they would post a video explaining why the puppy was given to the family on Friday.
They wrote, “The outcome of our decision understandably upset many animal lovers, and I wholeheartedly apologize for your reading of this tragedy, but we can 100% assure you that we have done everything we can for you Rolo moving in with his new family.

"Yes, you could well say I shouldn't have given the puppies, but I'll explain the reason for my decision again tomorrow. Please put down the comments for the SMS phone calls for now, as this is not required.
& # 39; We are one big family at @JRCbullies that we love and that we dedicate to our animals and we honestly have so much love for all of the people who support and follow us and have sent their messages by the hundreds today. Thank you all . & # 39;
JRC Bullies also told The Mirror that they were "heartbroken" and had told Katie not to leave the pup alone.
It is believed that she called the company to tell them about Rolo's death and explains that she was packing in a different room at the time. It was also reported that their five-year-old daughter Bunny found the puppy.
