Kanye West officially registers as a presidential candidate

Kanye West submitted his first official step to candidacy for the presidency in November at the Bundestag election commission.

The rapper filled out the first form required by the FEC for the presidential candidacy – Form 1: Organizational Declaration – and stated that the Kanye 2020 Committee will act as the "main campaign committee" with West as a candidate.

West 43 said he would run as a candidate for the BDY party, which he believed represents the birthday party.

The FEC form signals that West is serious about running for president in November after announcing on July 4 that he will see the White House four years earlier than he said.

“We must now deliver on America's promise by trusting God, uniting our vision and shaping our future. I'm running for the President of the United States! # 2020VISION & # 39; West tweeted on Independence Day.

The move to the FEC came after it became known on Tuesday that West had decided to end its campaign less than two weeks after announcing that it was going for a run.

A few hundred people are already working for West on site, but an election strategist told the intelligence officer Thursday just a few hours before the FEC file fell, "He's out."

Steve was hired by West to focus on putting the rapper's name on the ballot in Florida and South Carolina.

"I'll let you know what I know as soon as I've canceled all of our things," Kramer said to the intelligence officer who is part of New York Magazine.

"We had over 180 people out there today," Kramer said of the Florida effort, adding later, "I have nothing good or bad to say about Kanye."

“Everyone has their own decision about why they make decisions. Running for president must be one of the hardest things anyone can think about at this level, ”he continued.

Hired campaign officials have been reported to have been told West's application for president has been denied – but the FEC filing tells a different story.

When DailyMail.com reached the email address stored in the FEC for West campaign, the message could not be sent with the error message that the recipient server is not available or busy.

Although West has completed the first presidency form, he still needs to fill out Form 2: Declaration of Candidacy.

The second and more important form would show that he had raised or spent more than $ 5,000 on campaign activities and would trigger immediate candidacy status under the federal campaign funding law.

The FEC filing shows that the West campaign funds will flow through the First Bank of Wyoming.

The move takes place because West has spoken several times about his wish to put him and his family in the deep red state and is currently in the process of building a massive mansion there.

Immediately after his announcement, West's wife, pop culture icon Kim Kardashian West, re-released his message along with an American-flag emoji – a sign of her support.

West's longtime friend and eccentric billionaire and CEO of SpaceX Elon Musk also showed his support for the candidacy on Twitter.

However, his presidential bid could fail before it gets underway as the deadline for presidential elections in certain countries is approaching or has already passed.

In six states – North Carolina, Texas, New York, Maine, New Mexico and Indiana – the registration deadline for the November election has expired, and registration for at least seven other states is pending this month.

Of the total of 538 votes from the electoral college, West would already miss 102 if he successfully put himself on the ballot in other countries.

He would have to act quickly not to lose 85 more electoral college votes as the deadline for voting in Colorado, Florida, Michigan, Missouri, Oklahoma, South Carolina and West Virginia is in July.

In December 2016, after Donald Trump won the presidential election, West said he had held back until 2024 to apply for president after saying he wanted to run in 2020.

On several occasions, he also showed his support for Trump, put on a red Make America Great Again hat, and met with the President in the Oval Office.

More recently, the rap star has said that he no longer supports Trump.
