Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden was eventually asked about reports on his son Hunter's overseas business and replied that he had "no answer" and angrily slammed the reporter who questioned him.
CBS news reporter Bo Erickson asked Biden when the candidate boarded his private jet after a campaign freeze in Michigan Friday night, two days after the New York Post broke the bombing story.
& # 39; Lord. Biden, how do you react to the New York Post story about your son, sir? Asked Erickson.
"I know you would ask," Biden replied hotly, wearing two masks. "I have no answer, it's another smear campaign, right down your alley, those are the questions you always ask."

It took two days to publish a lot of Jäger's emails showing the candidate's son in lucrative foreign deals. Hunter can be seen above with Biden in 2016
On Thursday night, former ABC News Democratic adviser George Stephanopoulos sparked controversy when he refused to check for Jäger's emails during a 90-minute town hall.
Biden's campaign previously responded to the Post's report with a statement: "Joe Biden has carried out official US policy towards Ukraine and has not committed any wrongdoing."
Jäger's emails were sent to the New York Post by Rudy Giuliani after an owner of a computer repair shop said he found it on a hard drive.
The shopkeeper said a man he could not identify brought three computers to his store for repair last fall and never picked them up. He said he then made a copy of the emails and pictures on the hard drives and made them available to the FBI and Giuliani, Trump's lawyer.
The emails suggest that Biden, who has always denied knowledge or involvement in his son's business relationships, was more involved than he previously admitted.

The email pool has generated a number of political shock waves, including:
- The laptop contained a picture of Hunter with what appeared to be a cracked pipe and an 11-minute sex and drug video that can still be viewed.
- Donald Trump used the release staged by his personal attorney Rudy Giuliani to label his rival a "corrupt politician".
- Senate Republicans said they would investigate the first tranche of emails from Hunter's Ukrainian business associates showing that Joe Biden was introduced to a Burisma energy manager as vice president.
- One report found that Joe Biden is the person referred to as "the big guy" in emails who would earn 10 percent equity in doing business with a Chinese energy company.
- Democrats accuse Giuliani of "selling misinformation" and "walking around with a Russian agent".
Twitter added to the controversy when it blocked links to post articles about the revelations, a decision the social media platform later traced.
On Friday, President Donald Trump alleged that Biden had a "very bad show" with ABC's Stephanopoulos at his town hall and slammed the network for not asking about Hunter.
& # 39; Sleepy Joe Biden had a very poor performance last night despite @GStephanopoulos asking him no questions about his role as & # 39; corrupt politician & # 39; has asked. Big Tech & Lamestream Media are working hard to hide this corruption !!! "Wrote Trump.
Stephanopoulos and ABC News did not respond to the attack.

The FBI is reportedly investigating whether the Hunter emails are part of an operation with foreign influence, although Giuliani says foreign sources did not provide the Hunter Biden emails.
He says a laptop with the emails and intimate photos was simply dropped off at a Delaware repair shop and the shopkeeper turned to Giuliani's attorney.
The emails that emerged as U.S. officials have warned that Russia, which backed Trump's 2016 campaign by hacking democratic emails and a covert social media campaign, is stepping back again this year.
The Washington Post reported Thursday that intelligence agencies had warned the White House last year that Giuliani was the target of an operation involving Russian influence.
That assessment was based on information, including intercepted communications, showing that Giuliani had contact with people connected to Russian intelligence, four intelligence sources told the newspaper.
The report said National Security Advisor Robert O'Brien warned Trump that information Giuliani brought back from Ukraine should be viewed as contaminated by Russia, but that Trump dismissed the warning.
Biden tops Trump in most major polls both nationally and in critical battlefield states. In the RealClearPolitics survey average, Biden leads Trump with 9 points.
