If you're looking to find out what's underneath, there is little better way to do than to jump into this amazing new $ 5.5 million (4.1 million pound) submersible.
It has just been delivered by the shipbuilding company Triton Submarines, which calls it the "saloon under the sea". It has the world's largest transparent, spherical passenger compartment, which offers the interior a spectacular view underwater.
Named the Triton 3300-6, the submarine can comfortably accommodate six people, while the "Tiffany Blue Exterior" chosen by its owner seems to "disappear" after being submerged in the water.

The submersible has the world's largest transparent, spherical passenger compartment, which gives the interior a spectacular view underwater
According to Triton, the submarine is the world's largest submersible boat with an acrylic shell and a certified depth of 1,000 meters.
Florida-based Triton boasts that "the shipment includes many key milestone innovations."
The submarine, which took two years to complete and has a 360-degree window, is the "largest submersible in the world with an acrylic shell and a certified depth rating of 1,000 meters".
The interior is five cubic meters (175 cubic feet), which corresponds to "the cabin of a private jet Cessna Citation CJ2 with six passengers". Passengers can experience "luxurious comfort" and relax in the "Club Class seats".
According to Triton, the leather interior complements the eye-catching exterior paintwork.
It explains: & # 39; The size of the panoramic passenger compartment provides a social space from which guests can enjoy a shared diving experience.
"This unique feature of the Triton 3300-6 just can't compete with multihulls or smaller craft."

Triton is unable to reveal the owner's identity but said the sub would be used in waters around the world
At the owner's request, Triton worked closely with marine surveyor SEMarine to ensure that the submersible and its support systems were successfully integrated on its 142 m long Lurssen guest ship. It is unable to reveal the owner's identity but said the sub would be used in waters around the world.
The 3300-6 is one of a range of underwater vehicles developed by Triton. The shipbuilding company was behind the manufacture of the Limiting Factor submersible, a Triton 36000-2 model that made a record dive last year to the deepest point on the world's oceans, Challenger Deep in the Mariana Trench – 10,927 m (35,853 m) below the Surface. It is the only dive boat ever certified for unlimited depth.
The Triton DeepView 24 was also recently developed, which can transport 24 passengers to depths of up to 100 m and, thanks to large panoramic windows, offer them a wonderful view.
Triton lead designer John Ramsay said: & # 39; After the development and groundbreaking success of the Triton 36000-2 (LF), which in particular set the world record for the deepest dive ever, it was a welcome return to designing one another milestone dive boat.

& # 39; This time the focus was much more on luxury and the guest experience than on extreme depth. I'm especially proud of the comfort and space we've achieved with a dive boat that is less than 50 percent heavier than our three-person equivalent. & # 39;
Patrick Lahey, President of Triton added: & # 39; We are very grateful to the owner for giving us the opportunity to build this first Triton 3300-6 and to share his pride in the amazing end result that the team achieved scored here at Triton.
& # 39; While we shipped a 24-passenger submersible for commercial tourism earlier this year, the Triton 3300-6 is the first of several Triton models for six, seven and nine people you'll see in the delivery model near future.
"One of the next deliveries is a 500-meter version of the 3300-6 that is currently under construction – the Triton 1650/7 Configurable – with even more interior volume and space for up to seven people."
