How six influencers moved into a £ 5million mansion in the country to raise their profile

TikTok has quickly become one of the most popular forms of social media for Gen Z, but this group of influencers took their love for the platform one step further.

Six social media influencers in their early twenties calling themselves "The Wave House" have moved to a £ 5million mansion in the UK countryside on the outskirts of London, where they will live together and create videos for the platform .

Earlier this month, the first video appeared on the collective's TikTok account, promoting the influencers for new luxury digs, which include 13 acres of land, a swimming pool, a gym, a spa and a 100-inch TV that almost Cost £ 30,000.

But the new group to help influencers gain popularity was created by the Yoke administration agency, which pays the cost of the house and treats the mansion as an "office". .

Mansions where content creators live together have grown in popularity thanks to The Hype House, a collective of TikTok personalities based in Los Angeles, California.

The US collective was founded in December 2019 and consists of aspiring or established Gen Z influencers, including Addison Rae (19), who is friends with Kourtney Kardashian.

If that wasn't enough, the house also includes a dog bath in the spa and a library, according to the Wave House "host" – another TikTok user named Bobby Moore.

The influencers belong to the management agency Yoke, which covers the cost of the house and treats the villa as an "office" for their influencers to create content – but the TikTok stars are not contractually obliged to stay in the house.

“The whole idea is a workplace, but they live there. The costs are all borne by the company. If they want to go home, they can, ”Ercan Boyraz, head of influencer management at Yoke, told FEMAIL.

"Regarding ourselves, Joch," he said, "we are essentially an influencer network and the overall goal of the house was to professionalize TikTok and create a professional content creation environment."

In contrast to a normal office environment, the Wave House is a place where influencers can perfect their "craft" and monetize their videos.

"The whole structure is you go away and live there and focus on your craft and professionalize what you do," Boyraz continued.

Social media marketing agencies usually charge a cut in the influencer's bottom line or a set fee for a spot in their agency.

The British YouTuber met Charles at VidCon, a four-day event in July 2019, and described how Charles challenged Sellitto's sexuality when Sellitto told him he was not gay.

Sellitto told DailyMail.com, “A few days later, he started contacting me on social media. He was flirtatious but didn't say anything inappropriate. He kept telling me that I was the hottest guy he'd ever seen.

“A few days after we met I had to fly back to London. We stayed in touch for the next week, then I told him I didn't want to continue. I told him I was not gay.

“But James made me question myself. He asked me, "Are you sure you are not gay or bi? Are you sure?" I finally had to tell him again that I didn't want to continue with him. The bottom line is that I wasn't as interested in him as I was in myself. "
