Rowan is the third candidate to be eliminated from The Great British Bake Off 2020.
After the music teacher scratched through last week – to the contempt of many fans – he said goodbye to the tent after failing to impress with his "soft and wrinkled" rainbow bagels, "sand-like" soda breads and a "mild" show stopper.
Rowan was always friendly as he said goodbye to the remaining bakers and added, "I feel very satisfied, I really had a wonderful time, it's exhausting but very rewarding."

Rowan struggled to win Prue Leith and Paul Hollywood over a difficult bread week and again struggled to realize his overzealous idea in the time allotted.
Prue added, "Rowan was such a character and I'm sorry to see him leave because he's so ambitious, resourceful and put so much thought into his baking."
Thinking about his time on Bake Off, Rowan told Radio Times, “I started Bread Week pretty confidently, I thought it would be all right.

Even as he struggled through the baking challenges, Rowan managed to tickle the audience after Matt Lucas set the stage for one of the series' most famous allusions.

Next week, the remaining bakers face more sweet baking challenges as Chocolate Week returns to the tent.
