Ms. Taylforth separated from her fiancé Fairbairn in late 2019 after six years together after her relationship came under pressure after a series of disagreements.

The couple had been together since 2013 and Ms. Taylforth, best known for playing Kathy Beale in EastEnders, also separated from Dave two years ago because of "fierce arguments" between the two, but later rekindled her romance .

In 2003, he was jailed for 15 years for smuggling one of the largest ecstasy imports in Britain at the time.

Fairbairn was found guilty of planning to import and deliver Class A drugs at Bristol Crown Court along with three other accomplices.

It came after the police discovered an estimated £ 7.5m worth of ecstasy tablets in a raid on a warehouse in Gloucestershire.

He tried to appeal the length of his sentence, but later dropped the case and served seven years before he was released.

Ms. Taylforth's relationship with him was her first when she separated from her 23-year-old ex-partner Geoff Knights.

She shares two children with Knights, who tragically died of stomach cancer in 2013 at the age of 58.

They had a stormy relationship, but she once admitted in an interview, "It was really difficult because you don't just stop feeling feelings for someone."

Prior to his death, Knights had been accused of violating an order that prevented him from contacting her directly.

But he had been too sick to go to court after he collapsed and was taken to the hospital when doctors discovered his cancer.

In 2006, Taylforth needed three stitches in her scalp after Knights beat her up in front of her son while celebrating their 20th anniversary.

He was warned after Taylforth refused to indict.

She played the role for all five series, which made her the only actor to appear in each series without taking a break.

In 2006 she played the role of Mandy Searle in Jane Hall and also appeared as a recurring panelist at ITVs Loose Women.

She won a regular role in the police drama The Bill, in which she played Sergeant Nikki Wright in 2006 before leaving two years later.

In January 2013, Taylforth became a roommate in the eleventh series of Celebrity Big Brother. She was the fourth person to be evicted after 15 days.
