Several boats have sunk and several are in distress at a Trump Boat Parade on Lake Travis, Texas, authorities said.

The Travis County Sheriff's office said Saturday it was responding to "many boats in distress" on the lake, which is 20 miles northwest of Austin.

According to KVUE, authorities have received calls from the entire parade route, including Paradise Cove, West Beach, Point Venture and Hurst Creek.

No injuries or deaths were reported as of 3 p.m. local time.

Authorities said they were unable to confirm how many boats are in need of help or have sunk due to the overwhelming number of calls they have received.

The Austin-Travis County's EMS also confirmed that it has not received any calls regarding medical emergencies and is therefore not helping at the lake.

The event organizers had advertised the parade on Facebook and invited Trump supporters and boats of all sizes and shapes to participate.

"Decorate your boats in patriotic colors and hoist as many Trump flags as it can handle," read the post.

According to the event website, more than 2,500 people were planned and more than 5,800 were interested.

It is unclear how many boats turned out for the parade. However, social media photos show large crowds gathering along the route to watch the great flotilla go by.

The parade was supposed to start at 11:30 a.m. and end at 2:00 p.m. at Emerald Point.

The sheriff's office said it received the first call around 12:15 p.m. minutes after the parade started.

Meanwhile, similar boat parades were held in support of the president across the country, including New Jersey and Iowa on Labor Day Weekend.
