The former Love Island star, 29, took to Instagram on Saturday where he shared a clip from an idyllic seaside setting.
But he was shocked when a follower struggled with him for being on social media so soon after Llyr's death last month after a mental health battle.

Alex took a screenshot of the exchange in which the person responded to his picture by the sea with the comment, "Your brother is dead, get off social media."
Share his fear at the answer, Alex wrote, “Imagine that you are that person. I hold on to a thread and you get people like this. & # 39;
In his next Instagram story, the medic explained to fans why he was on social media and thanked them for their support during this difficult time.

Alex recently confirmed that his brother's funeral took place on Monday.

Distraught: Dr. Alex announced on Instagram last month that he lost his "beautiful little brother to mental health" (posted on Instagram in 2018).
Relocation: In his emotional post, he said, "I was so proud to have you started studying medicine next month that you would have been the most incredible doctor."
"I love you so much, Lord, you are always with me, my boy."
Before the funeral on Monday, the A&E doctor wrote: “Life sometimes brings us to an end, but with family and friends we overcome the seemingly most insurmountable challenges. Today is Llyr for you. & # 39;
The evening before, Dr. Alex made a contribution that read: “Tomorrow will be the hardest day of my life. We'll get through for Llŷr and the rest of the family. & # 39;
Llyr died just weeks before following in his older brother's footsteps and entering medical school.
