Donald Trump tweeted that Rudy Giuliani tested positive for coronavirus

Donald Trump's lawyer Rudy Giuliani has tested positive for the corona virus. The president tweeted on Sunday about the official spearhead of his election fraud allegations.

Giuliani, 76, is only the last person in Trump's circle to test positive for COVID-19 after Trump, the first lady, and Chief of Staff Mark Meadows tested positive.

He has toured the country arguing Trump that the election was "rigged" and "stolen" – even traveled to Pennsylvania after a member of his legal team announced he tested positive.

He has appeared in both legislative hearings and unofficial Republican-led quasi-hearings where witnesses alleged massive fraud, despite judges dismissing dozens of lawsuits.

Despite numerous close calls and recommendations from the Center for Disease Control, he was regularly exposed at the indoor events.

Giuliani's son Andrew announced a positive test after attending a press conference with Trump's Elite Strike Force legal team last month.

Giuliani took legal action after Trump's former deputy campaign manager David Bossie himself testified shortly after his appointment.

White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany, another top advisor on campaigns, has also tested positive in recent months.

Giuliani participated in preparing the debate with former New Jersey Governor Chris Christie and Trump just before Christie tested positive for the virus. He was one of several officials at the event that marked the appointment of Supreme Court Justice Amy Coney Barrett, which soon became known as the Superspreader event.

Giuliani led the Trump battle to try to get judges or lawmakers to push back the results of an election in which he left President-elect Joe Biden behind by more than 7 million votes.

He has touted "bombshell" video evidence allegedly showing electoral fraud in Georgia, despite the Republican Secretary of State saying it was nothing.

It was revealed on Sunday that the star witness in Trump's “election fraud” case in Michigan was recently paroled after he was accused of broadcasting pornographic videos of her fiancé's ex-wife and trying to accuse her to have stolen.

Mellissa Carone, 33, was sentenced to 12 months probation for the Wayne County, Michigan offense in September 2019.

He traveled to Pennsylvania to attend another hearing-style event calling Trump about fraud. He sat exposed next to the lawyer Jenna Ellis, who was playing the tape on her cell phone.

He also appeared debunked at a bizarre press conference at the Republican National Committee in Washington, where he and then Trump campaign attorney Sidney Powell proposed a conspiracy theory about voting machines involving election officials from Venezuela, China, Cuba and the Democrats.

When Giuliani sweated, his hair dye ran down his face – in one case Fox news anchor Sean Hannity recently mocked his show while guest Giuliani smiled. He was seen maskless, blowing his nose and wiping the handkerchief on his forehead while getting stuck with other members of the legal team and reporters nearby.

Six days after that event, on November 25, Boris Epshteyn, a lawyer and former White House campaign and official who appeared as part of the effort and appeared, announced that he had tested positive.

Despite the news, Jenna Ellis tweeted that she had traveled to Gettysburg, PA with @RudyGiuliani to attend the election hearing-style event.

Ellis tweeted that both she and Giuliani tested negative and that the entire legal team will continue to follow our doctors' advice and protocols.

Ellis, 36, lacks years of experience as a federal attorney, mayor, political candidate, and private attorney – although Giuliani himself hadn't discussed a case in court in years when he appeared before a federal judge in Pennsylvania last month.

If Giuliani were isolated or pulled out of circulation in dealing with the virus, Ellis could do more of the job – although she was recently revealed in profiles that she worked at the traffic court and fired a prosecutor. In the profiles of the New York Times and the Wall Street Journal, no court records were fined to substantiate their claims of "constitutional attorney" despite Trump and Giuliani discussing the prospect of bringing a case to the Supreme Court.

Giuliani's legal efforts have regularly earned him praise from the president – but also some stern admonitions from trial judges and some of the election officials he challenged.

Georgia's Lt. Gov. blew up "mountains of misinformation" in election fraud cases on Sunday, hours after Trump came to Georgia to claim the election was "rigged".

"I am concerned that this will continue, you know that fanning the flames around misinformation puts us in a negative position on the January 5th runoff," said Georgia's Lt. Gov. Geoff Duncan told CNN's State of the Union.

"The mountains of misinformation don't help the process – they only hurt it," he said.

Giuliani sometimes seemed like he had a special power that made him immune to the virus.

He traveled with the President of Air Force One for the first presidential debate in Cleveland amid a spreading spreader event at the White House.

The President, Christie, First Lady Melania Trump and others had already tested positive.

Giuliani's test results come when the president's case enters a critical phase – although he already has great chances of reversing the election results, where Joe Biden won 7 million more votes and has a 306 to 323 lead on the electoral college.

The electoral college meets on December 15th. Congress has a special session on January 6th to count the votes. The inauguration day is January 20th.

He has almost no victories. The Trump campaign and allies filing lawsuits in battlefield states where he has lost have lost or dismissed 46 cases since the election, according to the Democratic attorney Marc Eliaswho happily keeps track.

Giuliani, who represented Trump pro bono, logged several hours into the desperate legal battle over the reversal of the elections – getting in touch was a gigantic undertaking.

He spent hours interviewing witnesses in an Arizona hotel lobby, then spent long hours at a hearing in Michigan. This event lasted more than four hours.

He was seen in a video of people being hugged and greeted in the Georgia state capital on Thursday. He strolled through offices near the listening room while holding a mask.

According to NBC NewsGiuliani is the 53rd member of the administration, campaign, or contact to test positive as Trump, Melania Trump and Hope Hicks tested positive on October 1st and 2nd.
