Angry Dominic West has beaten back a lawnmower delivery man who "berated" him during his trip to Rome with Lily James – by giving him a one-star rating on a retail website.
West got into an argument with driver Matt Vessey after the star failed to pay the £ 125 to deliver the seat mower to the actor's home in Wiltshire.
Vessey, 36, claims that when he arrived at the property to find a group of photographers on the property, the actor confessed to him that he was "having an affair".
Now the star has taken revenge on Mr. Vassey by giving him a poor rating on the Shiply trade feedback website.
Dominic West got into an argument with delivery man Matt Vessey over an unpaid £ 125 bill for a lawnmower, claiming the actor confessed he was in trouble because he was "having an affair".
Mr Vassey said he showed up with his van and trailer (above) on the 51-year-old actor's doorstep in Wiltshire to find a group of photographers waiting outside
Mr. Vassey (above) had a dispute with West over the unpaid bill. The star then visited a trading website to give him a one-star rating for professionalism and named him a "t ** t".
West has been under intense scrutiny since he was seen canoodling with 31-year-old Lily James in Rome (above) last month.
West and his wife Catherine Fitzgerald, who have four children, have presented a unified front since the pictures of his time with Lily emerged
Although West gave the driver five stars for communication and punctuality, he only gave him one star for "professionalism".
He also posted a thumbs down emoji for Mr. Vessey, adding the word: & # 39; t ** t & # 39 ;.
The driver replied to West's post with the comment: “You don't pay or ignore messages. Avoid!!! (Actor Dominic West). & # 39;
West, known for his roles on The Wire and The Affair, has been under intense scrutiny since he was seen canoodling with 31-year-old Lily James in Rome last month.
His latest drama – this time with Mr Vessey – was overpaying for the delivery of a lawnmower he bought on eBay for £ 3,650.
Mr. Vessey of Scunthorpe had driven 240 miles from Lincolnshire to Wiltshire to park the machine only to find a crowd of photographers waiting outside.
After Mr. Vessey failed to recognize the actor, he told MailOnline, "I'm like" What the hell is going on? ". He said," It's a bit serious … I had an affair.
I said to him, buddy, I have no idea who you are. All I had on my driver's receipt was the name & # 39; Dominic & # 39 ;. & # 39;
Nine days later, the actor still hadn't paid the £ 125 replay cost despite repeated phone calls and text messages.

Mr. Vessey of Scunthorpe had traveled 240 miles from Lincolnshire to Wiltshire to drop off the actor's lawnmower, which the actor had bought on eBay for £ 3,650
Nine days later, despite repeated phone calls and text messages, actor Mr. Vessey had still not paid the £ 125 delivery charge. He was finally paid on Friday after the series was reported
In response to West's poor rating on the trade feedback website, Shiply, Mr. Vessey wrote, “They don't pay or ignore news. Avoid!!! (Actor Dominic West). & # 39;
"I very much doubt Dominic West is fighting for a few hundred pounds," the driver told MailOnline.
But the actor paid the £ 125 via bank transfer to Mr Vessey Friday afternoon after Mail Online reported the dispute.
Mr Vessey, who started his one-man business in March when the pandemic set in, said his terms are always payment on delivery and this is stated on the invoice the actor received when the mower was delivered.
He added today, “I'm glad he paid for it. That was good of him.
“But I'm not the one who's not okay here. If it hadn't taken him nine days to pay my bill, this situation would never have happened.
"It should have been paid cash on delivery as those were the terms of the invoice I gave him."
West and his wife Catherine Fitzgerald, who have four children, have presented a unified front since the pictures of his time with Lily emerged.
But Mr. Vessey described West as "nervous", who apologized for all the attention when the mower was unloaded before eventually disappearing to put on a hat and mask.
The driver, a father of two, was hired to drive to Barrow-on-Humber on Tuesday last week to pick up the used Kubota mower.
I loaded the mower and headed for Wiltshire. When I got there, I saw a lot of cameras all over the place.
Despite an agreement to pay on delivery, Mr. Vessey and West agreed to remotely pay the bill for the delivery of the lawnmower. The driver asked the star to settle his bill on WhatsApp (above).
I googled him and realized who he was. If he had said he was in the Spartan movie & # 39; 300 & # 39; would have been or would have been a voice in & # 39; Finding Dory & # 39; I might have noticed. & # 39;
Mail Online has asked West's agent for a comment.
