During the commercial, family lawyer John Phillips said, “Don Lewis mysteriously disappeared in 1997. His family deserves answers, they deserve justice.
"Do you know who did this or whether Carole Baskin was involved?"
The family's ad appeared during a commercial break when Baskin donned a tiger print dress to cut the floor with pro dancer Pasha Pashkov for the season 29 premiere of the ABC celebrity ballroom competition.
Baskin freed Pasha from a cage full of stuffed tigers when they appeared in front of the Tiger Eye, the theme of the 1982 sports film Rocky III.
"Hey, all your cool cats and kittens," Baskin said, using her catchphrase during her introductory video from Tampa, Florida.

Lewis' body was never found and Hillsborough County Sheriff Chad Chronister recently reopened the case.
"We're going to serve (Baskin) with a lawsuit, not a lawsuit for damages, but a lawsuit for justice," Phillips said during the briefing at Riverhills Church of God on August 10th.
The discovery slip would allow them to get information before deciding who to sue. This means that there could be debris or summons on the cards.

He was convicted of trying to hire someone to kill Baskin. He tried to shut it down, accusing the Oklahoma Zoo of abusing animals and selling large kittens.
In retaliation, Maldonado Passage raised questions about Baskin's ex-husband. The documentary elaborated on Maldonado-Passage's repeated allegations that Baskin killed her husband and possibly fed him to their tigers.
Maldonaldo Passage is currently in jail. A federal judge gave Big Cat Rescue Corp. took control of the Oklahoma Zoo, previously operated by Maldonado Passage – also known as Joe Exotic.
Baskin previously sued Maldonado-Passage for trademark and copyright infringement and won a $ 1 million civil sentence against him. The judge found that ownership of the zoo had been fraudulently transferred to the mother of Maldonado-Passage in order to avoid paying the judgment.
