George Clooney wagged his tongue as he confirmed a longstanding rumor that he gave his 14 closest friends $ 1 million in cash once this week – and everyone wondered who was on the list.
Rande Gerber, Clooney's closest friend, has already confirmed that he received the gift he received while having dinner at Clooney's house with a group known only as "The Boys".
Neither Rande nor Clooney ever gave the names of the men on this list and simply said that they are the men who helped the star get his start in Hollywood and continued to support him throughout his career.
But a photo of Clooney's wedding can give a compelling clue. It shows Clooney and his new bride, Amal, posing together with 13 other men in matching tuxedos with a rim just over George's right shoulder.
Also included in the recording are Curb Your Enthusiasm actor Richard Kind, retired actor Tommy Hinkley, and actor-director Grant Heslov, all known as close friends of Clooney.

"You've helped me when I've needed help over the years": GQ's Man of the Year George Clooney, 59, confirmed a long-standing rumor in an interview with the publication
Also pictured are Friends director Ben Weiss the Friday 13th actor Thom Mathews, makeup artist Waldo Sanchez, David Sagal, brother of Sons of Anarchy actress Katey Sagal, and Michael Heslov, Grant's brother.
John Lambros, husband of model Karen Duffy; Matt Adler, a teenage film actor from the eighties; Toto guitarist Steve Lukather; and Robocop actor Miguel Ferrer are also pictured.
Clooney told GQ that shortly after an unexpectedly large payday from the 2013 movie Gravity, he decided to give the money away to thank the men who helped him the most in life.
At the time he was single and had no plans to start a family – although he had just met Amal, whom he would marry a year later on the exact date of the cash gift, September 27th.
The actor recalled thinking, “What I have are these people who have helped me in one way or another over a period of 35 years.
"I thought, you know, without her I don't get any benefit. And we're all very close and I just thought that if I get hit by a bus, they're all in their will.
"So why the hell am I waiting to get hit by a bus?"
Clooney explained how he did the stunt and went to a place in Los Angeles where it was possible to get "huge pallets of cash" – without explaining where it was or how he found out about such a place have.
The title star added, "I've never been in a position where someone else's life was infinitely more important to me than my own."
The actor drove a rented van that read "Florist" on the side, took $ 14 million in cash, and drove it back to his house with his assistant and two security guards who sat themselves.
Back at the house, he packed $ 1 million – which he said, "isn't as much as you think in terms of weight" – in 14 Tumi suitcases and invited his friends over.
When they arrived, Clooney placed them in front of a card with all the places he had been and all the things he had seen about them.
"How can you repay people like that?" He recalled before adding, "How about a million dollars?"
Gerber, who first spoke about the program in 2017, said he initially refused to take Clooney's money – so the actor had devised a clever program to force his hand.
"If Rande doesn't take the million, nobody gets it," said the actor.
Not all members of & # 39; The Boys & # 39; But things were going so well back then.
"One was working in a Texas bar at the airport, just trying to support his family, riding his bike to work every day," said Gerber.
"I mean these are people who took care of George and now he's giving it all back."
Gerber, who is valued at an estimated $ 400 million after selling a tequila company he founded with Clooney and Meldman in a $ 1 billion deal, announced he was making his own gift for has donated to charity.
Looking back on the deal, Clooney thought, "I said," I'm never going to get married. I will not have children. "I'm going to work, I have great friends, my life is full. I'm fine.
"And I didn't know how incomplete it was until I met Amal. And then everything changed. And I said," Oh, actually this was a huge empty room "… added Brad Pitt and Cindy Crawford's girlfriend added.
"I've never been in a position where someone else's life was infinitely more important to me than my own." And then pin two more people who are small and need to be fed … & # 39;
George also reflected on his acting career, saying, “The only way to be honest about things is to include yourself and your shortcomings in these things.

"When I say Batman & Robin is a terrible movie, I always say," I was terrible in it. "Because I was.
"But also because you can then say," After I said that I sucked on it, I can also say that none of these other elements worked. You know? "
George said he went behind the camera because he doesn't want his age to force him out of the film industry he loves so much.
He said, “I love this business. And I don't want to be 60 and worry about what a casting director or a young producer or studio manager thinks of me either. I wanted to participate.
& # 39; The painter is directing. Acting, writing, you know, that's the color. & # 39;
George spoke too the judgment of Breonna Taylor in his home state of Kentucky.
He said: & # 39;I can not believe it. There isn't even a manslaughter charge for a woman who was in bed and was shot.
He rubbed his eyes and continued, “Imagine that it was three black officers who kicked the door of a white person's house and shot the woman, the woman, in bed. Imagine that.
It is ridiculous. You know it just makes you angry. "
Hoping that the protests in his home state will then be peaceful, he adds, “You know, they talk about looting and stuff. Well, there have been a lot of black bodies that have been looted for 400 years. & # 39;
George talked about it too Now let other people like Chrissy Teigen deal with trolls. He said: & # 39;I have a lot more fun watching Chrissy Teigen. Someone step into their world and you say, "Oh, I wouldn't do that, dude."
& # 39; It's so fun. Like someone who thinks they're really smart and you just say, "Ugh, dude. You brought a knife to a shootout."
