The woman who exposed Hilaria Baldwin's decades-long attempt to fake her Spanish heritage said she chose to do so anonymously because she feared Alec Baldwin would beat her.

The woman who runs the Twitter handle @Lenibriscoe started an online firestorm on Dec. 21 when she tweeted, "You must admire Hilaria Baldwin's commitment to her ten-year grift in which she poses as a Spaniard."

In a thread of related tweets, the woman posted "evidence" of Hilaria's accent inconsistencies, clips showing her purebred New England parents, and a clip of her on the Today show forgetting how to use the word "pickle" pronounces.

When the woman spoke about her decision to reveal Hilaria's American upbringing, she told the New York Times it was already an open secret among many in the Big Apple – and decided to make it more widely known.

"We're all bored and it just seemed so strange to me that no one had ever come out and said it, especially for someone who got so much media attention," she said.

According to the Times, the woman says she wants to remain anonymous indefinitely because she is afraid that Hilaria's husband Alec – who has long had anger management problems – would "hit" her if he ever found out who she is .

Alec Baldwin, a three-time Emmy winner, is reportedly known for his hot temper among the Hollywood elite – and the actor has been involved in a number of high-profile public flair-ups over the past decade and a half.

The 62-year-old made headlines in 2007 when TMZ leaked a voicemail. He left his then 11-year-old daughter Ireland calling her a “rude, thoughtless little pig” when she didn't answer or return his call.

Alec's message, which spanned almost two minutes, ended with her telling Ireland she made him feel like it was doing it and threatened to straighten her out.

"You'd better be ready to meet me Friday April 20th," he said in a message left on April 11th.

A few years later, in 2011, Alec found himself in hot water again when he was launched from an American Airlines flight for refusing to turn off his iPad before take-off as he was reportedly in the middle of an important round by Words With Friends.

Then he went to Twitter to be angry about the incident. In a tweet that has since been deleted, he struck down the airline and wrote that it was "where Catholic sports teachers from the 1950s find jobs as flight attendants".

American later responded to Baldwin's online tirade, claiming the star was "extremely rude", giving "inappropriate names" to "people" and using offensive language.

The following year in 2012, a disgruntled Alec Baldwin was photographed assaulting a New York Daily News photographer in Manhattan shortly after he received his marriage license to Hilaria.

At the time, witnesses said Alec repeatedly "pushed and hit" the paparazzo. Meanwhile, the photographer said the SNL actor "pounced on him like an angry cop".

History would repeat itself the following year in August 2013, when Baldwin had a row with another New York photographer, despite this time the police were called to the scene.

The incident was reportedly triggered when the snapper approached Alec and Hilaria as they were walking around Manhattan asking them some questions about the birth of their newborn baby girl Carmen.

At one point in the scuffle, Baldwin pinned the photographer to the hood of the car. Meanwhile, Hilaria sought refuge in a nearby café.

Both men confessed to being with the cops physically and agreed not to bring charges against each other.

2018: Arrested for beating up a driver who he claims had taken his parking lot and later pleaded guilty to molestation

In May 2014, Baldwin was arrested by NYPD officials after becoming "messy" when he was quoted as having ridden his bike the wrong way down a Manhattan street.

The 30-year-old rock star allegedly got angry and started yelling at police after asking for identification to summon him, police said.

The police said he became belligerent and started arguing and using swear words with them.

After his imprisonment, Baldwin reportedly asked his supervisor, "How old are these officers that they don't know who I am?"

He later went on Twitter to blow up the city of New York as "an ill-managed carnival of stupidity desperate for revenue and intent on criminalizing behavior that was once believed benign."

In the years that followed, Baldwin had success with his SNL portrayal of Donald Trump, which would earn him his third Emmy award.

But amid his successes, any thoughts that Baldwin had tempered at his age seemed to grind to a halt in the fall of 2018 when he was arrested again.

This time Baldwin was involved in an argument with another man over a parking lot outside his building on East 10th Street.

The incident was reportedly sparked when the 49-year-old victim took a parking lot that Baldwin had been waiting for.

The driver was injured in the incident but said he was unsure if he was beaten or how exactly he was injured in the altercation.

Alec told the police he had taken my place. I pushed him ”and initially pleaded not guilty.

However, the reported victim later claimed that Baldwin slapped him across the left side of his face with a closed right hand, causing pain in the face.

Baldwin eventually worked out a plea deal where all he had to do was admit to being molested. The assault charges were dropped and he was ordered to pay a small fine and attend a one-day anger management course.

Since news of Hilaria's American upbringing – and allegedly false Spanish heritage – became public, Alec has attacked critics on all social media.

The latest attack came after he uploaded an Instagram photo related to the scandal, which featured the famous Mark Twain quote: "A lie can travel halfway around the world while the truth puts its shoes on."

One commenter quipped, “As if your wife was Spanish when she lived in Massachusetts all her life. I suppose your accent is wrong too? WOMAN! & # 39;

Alec's answer was very succinct: "Get ready."

Just before the Instagram spat, he hit another reviewer back on Twitter in response to a post on a human opinion essay titled, "Why the Hilaria-Baldwin Scandal is Painful for Immigrants – Me,"

Ale Russian's essay struck Hilaria – who confessed on Sunday that she was born in Boston and her real name is Hillary – for the "exaggerated" accent she "acquired" as an adult.

Alec replied: & # 39; Fake? Exaggerated? Set an accent as an adult? As a child she lived in Spain for many years. She lived in both places. & # 39;

He appeared to have calmed down Tuesday afternoon when he shared plans to take a break from social media in an Instagram post.

The post featured a somber photo of birds with the caption, "Fly Away A Little."

Hilaria, meanwhile, has claimed she did not commit any wrongdoing in response to @Lenibriscoe's alleged "decades of grip".

In an interview with the New York Times, 36-year-old Hilaria said the recent stories about her upbringing in Boston were due to the media “misrepresenting me” by claiming she had spoken little about her legacy to protect their parents.

The mother of five also spoke on the now infamous "Today Show" segment, where she asked what the English word for cucumber was because she suffered from a "brain fart" due to live TV nerves.

Baldwin, 36, said recent stories about her upbringing in Boston were the result of "misrepresentation" by the media.

"There's nothing I'm doing wrong and I think there's a difference between hiding and creating a border," she told the Times.

"Today we have the opportunity to clarify for people who have been confused – and in some ways have been confused by people who misrepresented me."

Hilaria had initially denied the allegations that it was just "fake Twitter accounts that accused me of a fake identity!" however, was later forced to step down after thousands of comments and reveal more about her background in Massachusetts.

“Yes, I am a white girl. I'm a white girl Let's be very clear that there are a lot of white people in Europe and my family is white, "she said on Sunday in an Instagram video.

“Ethnically, I'm a mixture of many, many, many things. Culturally, I grew up with two cultures so it really is that simple. & # 39;

However, in her interview with The Times published on Wednesday, she remained firmly convinced that she was not guilty of cultural appropriation and never tried to misrepresent herself.

Hilaria said she is a bilingual speaker, claiming that she speaks English with a Spanish accent to varying degrees, depending on her emotions at the time, in response to the numerous videos showing her changing accent.

She claims that she did not know this magazine ¡Hola! had written that she is Spanish as she does not read any pieces about herself.

And claims that talent organization Creative Artists Agency must have pulled her bio, which says she was born in Mallorca, Spain, off the internet without checking the facts.

& # 39; I rarely work with C.A.A. now, ”she said. "It was very disappointing."

One of the most joked incidents over the past week was when she appeared on the Today Show asking for the English word for cucumber, which she thought was due to her being confused.

"The things I've shared about myself are very clear," said Hilaria.

I was born in Boston. I spent time in Boston and in Spain. My family now lives in Spain. I moved to New York when I was 19 and have lived here ever since.

“I feel like I've spent 10 years sharing this story over and over again. And now it doesn't seem enough. & # 39;

Still, she couldn't tell the Times exactly how much time she had spent in Spain when she was younger.

"I think it would be crazy to plan everything so tightly," she told them.

“You know, sometimes a school was involved. Sometimes it was vacation. It was such a mixture, mishmash, is that the right word? Like a mixture of different things. & # 39;

"When we weren't in Spain we called it 'we brought Spain into our house'", she added.
